Bro you just made a complete fool out of yourself...you asked me "who is your college football team" for saying we were a 4-5 win team this year, and then you say we win 6? LMAO, how stupid is that?
And I never dog out Stein. I say I think we have a good basketball team this year, BECAUSE WE DO. I say we are rebuilding in football BECAUSE WE ARE.
Lol bless your heart. I asked you what CFB team you liked because you're quick to glaze
Pope in every football thread LMAO not because you said 4 wins.Do you need me to write it out in crayon for you??

Alpha's ooze confidence. Betas and below stand around wondering what Alpha's are talking about. They dont understand... But they do recognize the mud hole that gets stomped into them by the Alpha's so there is that... Stein is going to crush it at UK. This year, a bowl game will be success, the schedule is just that brutal for a first year HC rebooting a losing program into a winner. But Stein has made all the right moves early on as HC. It's time to break the huddle and line em up. I cant wait to see what he does with this program.

These new school truckers are some sissys. I used to cover 2,000 miles in a day only stop to fuel up. Mountain dew beef jerky and I'm on the road!

You ain’t lying.

I’m old enough to most of your daddy’s though and judging my younger years, it’s quite possible that I am the daddy to a few of you all. 🤣

I live in Richmond, Va now but yeah I actually do.. lol

I had a couple trees fall on my property last night and need them cut up and removed. I could use a farm hand as well on the regular.
Would love to do that. Beats 70 hours a week in this factory.

Not gonna be able to pay those kind of wages so you might want to keep at it there! 😂

You sound like you work at Toyota?? 😂
Na just a old brick factory. Wages aren't good. 20 a hour lol. If I work until I can barely walk each week I end up making good money. Who cares about dying thirty years quicker than you should anyway?

Work your butt off to buy your kids nice four-wheelers and stuff just so they can sit in the house and play fortnight. Yea buddy. Told my son he'll have tits soon.

OK.......and Ive been posting since Tubby was coach. Now that we're done comparing resumes, which isnt remotely germane to the discussion, just be a man and take ownership of starting a bad thread.

So many people in this fan base post these assinine take like you did that ESPN is out to get Kentucky, or that they're ignoring Kentucky.

I don't watch ESPN. I don't care for their woke horsehît. But I do have a brain and a mind for business.

If they've only had one team at the podium thus far at that juncture, it stands to reason that that will be the team they discuss. If Missouri was at the podium at the time, they're going to wait until Drink & Co. are finished before going into depth on Missouri, because, duh.

Also, duh, Oklahoma is one of the biggest names in college football. They're obviously going to spend more time discussing them than they would Missouri, or Kentucky, etc because of ratings. Do you complain when they spend an exorbitant amount on Kentucky during basketball SEC media days? I'm willing to bet the answer is a solid no.

If you understand why they do it for us in basketball, then it stands to reason you should be able to apply that logic to football. Gasp....more people around the country care to hear about Alabama and Tennessee football than they do Kentucky or Arkansas. I know that's a shocking revelation.

In conclusion, maybe stop and think for 2 seconds before rushing on here to post some hair brained hot take that isn't remotely based on reality or logic. Hope this helps in the future. 🍻

/Rant
If I had 20 dollars to bet. I’d bet you didn’t watch a second of media days. You really have no idea what you’re talking about. They had 2 OK segments after Drink. Mateer joined the panel after Drink spoke. It was over the top.
You just admitted you don’t watch ESPN. How do you know how negatively they portray us then??
You killed any credibility by your own admission.
In conclusion, Maybe don’t speak on things you admit you know nothing about.
Your comments are the same as when I used to post my opinions of our spring game and scrimmages. I don’t do that anymore. Why? Because people that admitted they didn’t go watch. Told me how stupid and wrong I was about what I saw. Ok. Got ya.
BTW. We looked terrible in the spring game. Mincey is so short he can’t see over the Oline. Fire away guy that didn’t go.

I get it, fully! I worked in those types of places for years until I got my CDL’s and now life is good.

Pay the couple thousand dollars and get your CDL, you can make 6 figures your very first year.

There is a media days thread where it has been discussed......

....that being said, I agree. I miss the Lair. I'm a premium member, and I will say, there's a lot more football talk on House of Blue than basketball honestly. Something to consider.

That being said, I liked being able to get on the free boards too on Rivals and them be seperate. On3 isn't going to do that, and it's simply a matter of time before they kill the free option on y'all.
I really really really miss the lair and FB talk. How much is HOB nowadays?

That's crazy you said that. Almost like you seen my search history. I've been looking up schools to get my CDL. Any recommendations?

You are talking trucking correct? A lot of companies will pay for it. Or used to not too long ago.
Yea I was and I've seen that when looking at things I'm just completely green when it comes to the industry. Feel like I have to make a change tho and not be reliant on this one company that could shut down any day they feel like it.

Yeah I thought about trucking. I just can’t pass a pee test if something happens. Seriously. They need truckers like crazy right now. Jobs will literally pay for all that stuff. And like the other guy said, you can make good money quick.

I assume other dude knows way more than me but that’s the little bit of knowledge I can add to it. lol.

Talked to a trucker at my work, have interacted with him off an on for over 8 years. Pre-covid and post-covid him are very different. He’s making tons of money (I think about 130k a year) but he had giant bags under his eyes, just completely exhausted. Was home only 2 days a month, constantly on the road. Just seemed like a tough life.

I think we'd freak out if we truly knew how little sleep drivers get--knowing we're sharing the road. (And not the fault of the drivers)

I got mine at CDL Assist LLC here where I live.

I would probably recommend your local Community and Technical College. You’ll be on the road in a couple months making that $$$.

I do recommend to really study for the test tho and not just assume that you will pass!

Good luck brother!
