So within this group of 6,600 self described New Jersey non-citizens, 400 either chose to vote illegally, or they just didn't know they weren't supposed to vote,.. Makes you wonder about individuals that might have lied about their citizenship,.. I'm sure they wouldn't vote,... Right?

Seems weird that if this was so prevalent, the Fed Govt would be withholding approved funds from being sent to the states to help the individual states improve election security. Just weird.

Not when the states in question are indicating no desire to use those approved funds to actually improve election security....

Simply not true. They have indicated they are not willing to bend the knee to the President and his EO overreach. States rights and what not. Individual states are constantly working to better the security and there is no evidence of widespread issues. And the states work to maintain that sucess as well as improve for the 1 off issues with the money being allocated.

Well yes, that is your opinion because you have hook line and sinker taken the bait that trump is throwing. The facts, the court cases, documents all show that the elections ARE secure. And even in trumps release/speech last week of the smoking gun, show that it's all show. Just becuase he keeps repeating this doesn't make it real.

The fear mongering only works on a subset of the population. 1 offs happen, always will. Widespread issues, ZERO proof.

Can you show any evidence of wide spread issues that need fed govt intervention?

They know nothing of America, our culture, or our history. Wtf would you want them voting? They are not going through the assimilation process which happens with everyone that comes into America legally through the immigration process. What do you not understand?

I cannot go to any foreign nation and vote in their election process legally.

Where does it say they were illegals? It was a clerical error when people went to get a driver's license. Nothing more.

HADDONFIELD, New Jersey (AP) — About 6,600 people who indicated they were noncitizens while obtaining New Jersey driver’s licenses and other state IDs were improperly registered to vote in 2023 and 2024, Gov. Mikie Sherrill said Tuesday.

The Democratic governor, who took office this year, blamed a Motor Vehicle Commission system software error but said a preliminary analysis showed that fewer than 400 of those who registered that way went on to cast ballots.

Rifler needs to work on his definition of "wide spread". There were 4,321,921 votes cast in the 2024 general election. If 400 of them were from non-citizens, that accounts for .00009% of the votes. Statistically insignificant.

An estimated 35 to 39 million legal immigrants live in the United States. This includes approximately 24 million who have become naturalized U.S. citizens, about 11 to 12 million lawful permanent residents (green-card holders), and up to 2 million individuals on temporary legal visas.
