Saying he's going to arrest the leader of a Nation when he's the mayor of a city is stupid af and is nothing more than virtue signaling for his base (and I love the guy tbh, but this aint it).

He's clearly said that he doesn't have the authority to do this. Those are his actual words. "I don't have the authority to arrest him."

So again, it looks like the brain damaged guy was the real one looking like an idiot again.

A week or two back a member of his staff was scheduled to meet with a representative of the Iranian government but the State Department quashed it,... Mamdani as aspirations.

I sorta think of Fetterman like this:

Beyond that, I'll just say that these days, it's kinda refreshing to see someone - anyone - who tries to engage across the aisle on anything.

But I do kinda wish he'd lose the sweatshirt branding. While confidentiality would obviously preclude it, it would really be fascinating, the next time the guy is up for reelection, to see what percentage of voters switched their votes for/against him from the previous time. I could easily envision it being the first time you had a situation where that exceeded like 70%.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't he said he was going to try and get him arrested for a few weeks now?

His tweets are up in the other thread. He said he was exploring his options but agreed he has no authority.

This was Mamdani's way of signaling to his base that he has the game, but as Mayor of New York he just doesn't have the juice,... He's setting the table for a future promotion.
