It’s not , as you say gross national revenue isn’t even a used term .I don't know how this can be true if MLB AND NBA makes 12 billion. Gross national revenue isn't even a term as far as I can tell. Must mean revenue earned from Americans...obviously MLB and NBA are wildly popular outside of the U.S.
Raise your hand if you didn’t watch two minutes of World Cupit seem like they are trying to ruin all US sports to make room for soccer
I tried to watch the title game. It's so damn boring. Flopping, yellow and red cards. 0 shots on goal for Argentina. 3 hours to go to extra time to score one goal? Yawnsville. Hard pass. But it was cool for Europeans to get to see all the great things about our country that they don't have in Europe.Raise your hand if you didn’t watch two minutes of World Cup![]()
wnba money lossHow convenient that they left the WNBA off the list
Not saying the wnba is a good model or whatever but Amazon took almost a decade to make measurable profit. There is value is building a market, gaining market share...especially in new areas which might take a long time to grow such as woman's sports. I think it is nice for girls to not only see woman playing sports but also have an option to do it professionally. That being said...whomever has been in charge of the "outreach" to the public through the wnba should be fired a million times over because they are wasting this opportunity to grow the sport with labor disputes and social justice.wnba money loss
The WNBA is facing significant financial challenges, with losses projected at $40 million for the current season, an increase from previous years where losses were around $10 million annually. Despite growing revenues exceeding $200 million, the league has never turned a profit in its 28-year history.Fadeaway World+1
