What's the good parking and tailgating spots at Meatchicken?

Park across the street from the stadium at the Pioneer High School parking lot. Still debating if we'll go. I can get tickets but the seating sucks.

Across the street sounds like get there very, very early and pay big money.

We parked at the UM golf course. Easy in and out, lots of tailgaters, easy walk to the stadium.

I was there in 2002 and that’s what we did. That’s how I remember it going down. Showed up 90 min before kickoff, made some friends, and got out fairly easy. Of course that was darn near a quarter century ago. Things might be different now.

I'm guessing they still allow parking, but it's been 15 or better years since we were there. Who knows about the logistics of in and out. I do know we had to drive back to Iowa City and that we left early 4th quarter as Iowa was getting smoked.

We parked there in 2019 and I was surprised at how fast we were out of there and on the road to my son's house. Very well organized and none of the gridlock going in all directions when leaving Kinnick.
