I'm kind of looking forward to it, but not as much as I was Infinity Wars and Endgame.

Do, I have to catch up on ALL of the Marvel movies and shows I haven't watched? I watched a good bit of them, then got burned out.

I wouldn’t go to all that. Watch what you would genuinely enjoy and read summaries of anything you don’t get to watch beforehand.

I was excited to see the XMen, hope they do some more with that franchise.

I don't know where you dropped off, but based on what they showed in the trailer I'd say at a minimum to watch:

Shang-Chi
Loki S1/S2
Spiderman No Way Home and the new one
Thor Love And Thunder
Wakanda Forever
Deadpool & Wolverine
Thunderbolts
Fantastic Four

I’d say that’s a pretty accurate list. I’m sure someone will do a YouTube summary as well that will give you the cliffs notes to catch you up if you don’t have the time.

If you’re going to watch some of these and not all I’d recommend Loki, Deadpool and Wolverine and Thunderbolts.

Thunderbolts was a great movie that no one went and saw.

Ok. Shang-Chi & Thunderbolts are the only things I haven't seen.

Thunderbolts was the only marvel movie since endgame that was as good as the movies that came before it. I love that movie.

So, I don't need to worry about Falcon & Winter Soldier or any other streaming shows?

I started that one but didn't finish. I did see the Hawkeye one, & the Gardians Christmas special.

Ive seen all of those eave the last. Id recommend against the last Thor though as it was one of the worst movies Ive ever seen. Actors did fine just too much Taika Watiti being weird.

Good list. Id knock off Thor 4 (its developments will be written off in 5 seconds id guess, you wont feel lost) and maybe Wakanda Forever (you just wont know who this Namor guy is, but the movie will probably fill you in. Not much to know. He's powerful and lives in the sea. There you go.)

Watch Loki season 1 before Deadpool and wolverine.

Fantastic 4 even seems unnecessary.

Good lord Marvel has been wasting some time this Phase.

There’s been some real head scratchers for some of these movies and shows. Stuff you just look at the previews and know it’s not going to be good.

There’s a bit of comic book movie fatigue as well and the way Disney puts it on Disney+ so fast people just wait to watch it at home instead of the theater.

Fantastic 4 was ok. I did like that they explain the origins of the Fantastic 4 in about 5 minutes at the beginning of the movie instead of the just hashing it out for the movie like an origin story.

Yeah. I think theres fatigue with mediocre or average super hero movies. I think these next two Avengers movies plus the next Spider-man will match previous tallies, unless they're just god awful, which i highly doubt. I expect they intend to fully wear out the avengers and multiverse stuff, and let all that go. Then the x-men should keep the Marvel train running.

I think Disney has already course corrected to TV shows that are intended to be niche content, not "necessary" viewing for the MCU.

I am only a little excited to see this as they have not bothered to build up doom like they did thanos. Hes just going to appear and be the threat they need everyone for. Let's just hope they reveal it to be Tony stark from some multiverse.

All you really need to know about Falcon & Winter Soldier is Sam is Captain America now. It's not a bad show, I rewatched it recently, but I wouldn't say it's essential. Other details from other stuff is from Eternals, they killed an emerging Celestial and left behind islands full of adamantium in the Indian Ocean, and in the new Captain America movie they fought over who controls the adamantium.

Same actor, Anthony Ippolito, played a young Al Pacino in that series The Offer about how The Godfather came to be. You'd swear it was Pacino.
Okay, yeah, he was really good in that....I would never have made that connection. That was a great show. I read the book too, it was very good as well.

Without being a hater, I will just say that I’m stunned that this comic book superhero to movies thing has extended as far as it has. I really enjoyed a lot of the early ones, but I haven’t seen one in a while that did anything for me.

I don't see She-Hulk. Where does it belong on the list?

Main reason I included Love and Thunder was Mjolnir getting reformed and Thor getting his head back together. But yeah. I left out the Guardians stuff because it doesn't seem like it's going to be directly involved, but I'd recommend it anyway.

Based on trailer and how theyve named the two movies - it's gonna be dramatic irony in this one with the audience knowing Doom is the "bad guy". But when is that heel turn gonna happen?

Doctor Strange 3 talks a bit about incursions and so does the Loki show - that's 100% gonna be the main 'antagonist' of the first two acts. Universes colliding and battling each other. I have a feeling Doom helps with the start.

Act 3 heel turn sets up Secret Wars / Battleworld being built.

It definitely screams Doomsday = Time-Runs-Out run of comics and then Secret Wars = Secret Wars which is obvious.

This movie is going to be insane with the cameos across all the franchises and tons of death. It will be interesting to see who becomes perma'd, who is replaced, and what the soft reboot will be post Secret Wars.

I thought Daredevil was blind? He doesn't seem blind in that clip. I've obviously missed a lot.
Due to his radar sense he "sees" like a bat or dolphin, but better. Though a lot of noise or such can overwhelm that sense and "blind" his radar too. I guess he's color blind. He acts like a regular blind person to keep up his secret identity. Which everyone learns and then forgets again every couple of years.
