I was out there last weekend and inhaled two trays of Angie’s pizza and brought back 250 little neck clams and 12 lunch.

They should create the "Phillymanti" sandwich

Meat cheese condiments cole slaw and fries all within the sandwich. But instead of bread they create a huge soft pretzel, cut it in half and put all of it inside the two halves of the soft pretzel.

We’re missing the obvious. Bring back the Chicken Cosmo. That’s the PA state sammich. For f*ck’s sake.

Shoo fly pie and ring bologna and pretzels I hope are pa. Love that stuff
No ring bologna in FL, but I found a beef stick co. on Amazon called Old Wisconsin. Tastes just like what we grew up on. Whenever a friend buys a new house down here, as a housewarming present I send him/her a few big boxes of Middleswarth chips - all 3 flavors. My Publix has PA Dutch pot pie noodles frozen. So easy for both beef and chicken.

I am curious about something. I was born in PA left when I was 31 years old. I have never been to scranton, Harrisburg or Philly! Am I a true Keystoner?

Steve G,

Did you grow up in the Wyoming Valley?
Bartels, Gibbons and Steg .......🤢
Reading PA but my father drank Steg, would get 16 oz returnable cases from beer distributor, and we of course would sneak them out as Utes. Father was from Hazelton. There was a billboard for it right on edge of some small town we used to drive through maybe Frackville?

Why don't they make them on the Western side of the state?
Maybe it's the water quality in that part of PA, ala the alleged water type for Italian bread making in SE PA and South Jersey? 😆 Probably since these products had a great start and flourished in that region, it spun off other pretzel and chip makers in the same region utilizing similar ingredient and manufacturing methods.

Or maybe it’s the greater concentration of Pennsylvania Dutch / German influence in the counties surrounding Lancaster
