Really good intro to Mikey White. Looks like he and Swid are clicking really well. After all the praise Vega had for Swid last season, I’m starting to think Swid is an awesome locker room guy/mentor to the younger guys.

I know White may be a couple years out from being D1 ready, but he sure seems like an absolute dog and I’m excited to see what he becomes.

Also saw Ryder in a polo, didn’t see him doing any wrestling. Wonder what that portends for his 2026-27 season

I don't see him wrestling at all this year. Even non surgical shoulder injuries can take 6+ months to feel normal again.

I hope they don’t push him in this year! He’s a tough SOB, but that thing came out like a dozen times and that had to create some carnage in there?

Im no doctor, but I’m betting it was a tough operation and a lengthy rehab.

He can opt in to the old rules if I am not mistaken.

All medical RS have to be filed by July 31 . And Ryder can't get one for last year .

White can do either 4/5 or 5/5. 4/5 doesn't mean you get medical or Olympic redshirts you get one regular redshirt

Not a doctor either, but my wife is a PT and when I asked her about shoulder rehab, her take was she typically sees high level athletes need a full year to be back to full strength/mobility.
