It might not even be a real deal. Everything is easily generated now days .He sounds retarded
Would be funI don’t believe so, but I wish the P4 conferences would do an annual crossover. I understand we don’t have the same number of teams, but I would love to see B1G/ACC and B12/SEC one year, then B1G/B12 and ACC/SEC the next, then B1G/SEC and B12/ACC the year after. Or any rotation. Similar to how basketball had those conference crossover challenges (do they still do them?). You use the previous years’ standings and match them up. It forces at minimum 1 quality matchup instead of a Houston Christian/Citadel/Mercer/Longwood. Plus it gives a week of good matchups and tv ratings.

The Big Ten sucks.. it has always sucked, and will continue to suck. I agree with him. I preferred the old Big12 to the B1G, but now I would say both are equally sucking, but in different ways. I despise the B1G politics.. prefer Big12 football play style to this day, but some of the teams now are kind of sketchy.
As a Pennsylvanian I miss having James Franklin in the state. Him and Narduzzi were quite the dynamic duo for cheap entertainment from stupid quotesHe sounds retarded
Yeah, that was a very funny joke. This type of comment is reminiscent of our Oline saying they were going win the Joe Moore award last year before the season began.
As a coach, I like that he has his truth, his message and he is willing to say it publicly. In practice, a lot of coaches speak this way to their teams. Show that you have confidence in your team and respect for your league.Pat is so bitter but I kind of love it.
For sure...he is not going to say "Oh shoot, our conference is lame"As a coach, I like that he has his truth, his message and he is willing to say it publicly. In practice, a lot of coaches speak this way to their teams. Show that you have confidence in your team and respect for your league.
Bro said his record against Big 10 speaks for itself. He is 1-6 at Pitt. Completely deluded maniac and just another sign of everything wrong with the sport.I kinda look at this differently. I think Narduzzi is looking at this from a defensive angle. He said the ACC has more skill. From his POV I'm not sure he's that far off Let's be honest the BIG isn't beating teams by overwhelming skill talent on offense. Imo it's best assets are on both LOS. Especially offensively if we are being honest.
Now where I think Narduzzi may be off is that the new teams in the BIG come with MUCH better skill than the old BIG that he coached in. USC, UCLA, Washington all have good skill guys. These aren't your Iowa, Northwestern, and Wisconsin that he went against.
I'll say that when he said the ACC was "better" he's clearly wrong. When he said they had more "skill" it's highly debatable lol. BUT imo he's basing the BIG on when he was still in the BIG and not what it's become now.
I'll take the BIG as a whole over the ACC without thinking twice. But if we are just saying offensive skill it might be worth a conversation.
Holla
I was thinking the same thing and then he kept talking. For sure...he is not going to say "Oh shoot, our conference is lame"

I'm with Nikki. The B10 absolutely blows. There is nothing worse than watching a bunch of big slow dudes rape each other on the football field and basketball courts. Who doesn't love Pam Ward at 10 am on Saturday morning for that game that mercifully concludes with a soccer score. The Big Ten sucks.. it has always sucked, and will continue to suck. For YEARS me and my friends would talk about this...I can remember ESPN College Game Day ending...and it would go right to some lame Big Ten game. You would miss the opening kickoff of course because the coverage started late...there would be almost no one in the stands and it would be some super lame iowa at minny game...I'm with Nikki. We all thought the B10 blew before Nebraska joined the conference, and those who don't think so now are deluding themselves.
The ACC is way more exciting than the B10.
"skill" has dropped so much during the transfer portal era...qbs can't drop back and throw against cover 2, rbs can't read holes, blocking schemes, wr can't understand leverage and nobody can run timing or option routes because the QB and WR are constantly changing. I think this is why the big 10 has been dominant....the big 10 region has decent olineman, TEs, and Michigan and Indiana lead with a power run game. Speed still matters but some of that is being bought up by big big 10 paychecks. The quality of play in last years NC vs. 10 years ago is embarrassing. And the drop off is even greater when you get below the top 5 teams.Actually he said when you look at "our"(ACC) record vs the BIG. Again I don't think he's right about the ACC being a better league. In fact he's dead wrong. But if he initially made his statement about them having more skill than the BIG in 2015 or 2016 or so I'm not sure he is wrong.
NOW I'd lean the BIG way but if we are being honest in the last 10 years or so the SEC has definitely had better. The Big 12 and Pac 12 as well as ACC haven't been far behind or maybe the equal of the BIG. It's not a hyper skilled league offensively. Never has been.

Not surprised. The only thing Nicki is good at is beating women. Quite the company you keep.I'm with Nikki. The B10 absolutely blows. What are you talking about? The B1G is huge compared to the little ACC. You say it Sucks? What are you sucking? So you have two experiences with P5 administrations. You think the Big 12 Texas manhandled politics were better? What do you like about the Big 12 style of play compared to the B1G?The Big Ten sucks.. it has always sucked, and will continue to suck. I believe they have already consummated the union. When you and Top Kong going to tie the knot and get married.
“Exciting” doesn’t equate to being better. I would like to know the number of Big 10 players drafted by the NFL vs ACC players in an average year.I'm with Nikki. The B10 absolutely blows. And now that is Nebraska, morphed directly into that lame group of teams. I’m still unhappy with Osborne and Pearlman for running to the Big Ten. I wish they would have waited and joined the SEC.For YEARS me and my friends would talk about this...I can remember ESPN College Game Day ending...and it would go right to some lame Big Ten game. It was treated like it was a high school production.
this is wrong.. exciting equals a better fan experience, and that puts not only butts in the seats, but eyeballs on the screens.. excitement is everything..“Exciting” doesn’t equate to being better. Gotta disagree. We weren’t guaranteed into the SEC and it would have been a worse match. We make an additional 5 million a year in the B1G that the SEC pays out. Being in the SEC would not help our coaching issues. Probably exploit them worse. And now that is Nebraska, morphed directly into that lame group of teams. the biggest problem with moving to the Big Ten was the loss of Texas as a recruiting pool.. we have not picked up a lot of recruiting in most Big Ten states.. the recent additions from California help, but we still do not have a recruiting pool to tap into that sits within the league. If we had joined the SEC, we would most likely have had better access to the talent in the south east, which is where it's all at.Gotta disagree. And you can take your woke accusations and stfu. Absolutely no need to bring that crap on here. I’m a die hard republican but absolutely hate douch bags that have to use politics to try and make their position. I love the B1G. Your woke and DEI reasoning needs to go away. Actually with your attitude you need to go away from this thread. And that comes from one of your fellow republicansthis is wrong.. exciting equals a better fan experience, and that puts not only butts in the seats, but eyeballs on the screens.. excitement is everything..
I don't care who was drafted when/where or by which NFL team.. that is a completely different, and corrupt animal.
Back to excitement.. when was the last time we had running backs tearing off big touchdown runs? it's been a long long long time.. and the excitement of Nebraska football has suffered because of this since Ameer Abdullah played.
Now, one could argue that the B1G style of play is similar to the old Big 8, but that certainly hasn't been the case for Nebraska, and idgaf about the other teams in the league.
This year will be an exception to the rule however.. we will be one of, if not the most, exciting teams in all of college football.
Having been on the east coast now for a few years, the ACC is def more exciting, at least to me. Heck back when we were in the Big12, it was considered basketball on grass, and it was exciting.
All you defenders of the Big Ten woke institutions looking to normalize dei and woke ideologies can take your boring football and suck it.
PS. Nebraska is a playoff team this year!
And yet our recruiting classes have continued to outpace our rankings so it’s not “our biggest problem? That is my point. Losing Texas recruits has done ZERO to affect our results.
