Here is a follow up from the previous message I sent.Great info. Thanks for sharing this. Please take the time to listen.
Yesterday (Friday), we had some rain and wind from the south come through which temporarily cleard some of the smoke. Late Friday night and early this morning (Saturday) had a little more rain and slight breeze to keep smoke levels down. Just finished cutting my front lawn. It was already in the 80s and humid but little smoke. Tomorrow, winds are shifting again from the North and heavy smoke/haze returns.Much better day here in NEW. JERSEY.today compared to yesterday. No haze or smoky smell. Canada must be blowing or the U.S. must be sucking in a different direction today.
Same where I live in western New York. This smoke has staying power. We're under both a severe thunderstorm watch and an air quality alert- waiting to hear when Godzilla is expected to attack

Perhaps we should just annex CA, eh?Just can’t get rid of Canada.
We should start with the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. It should then all be renamed the American Falls.Perhaps we should just annex CA, eh?

Underbrush management and spaced firebreaks. It’s not rocket scienceThey manage the wildfires pretty well down there.
And they are praying for global warming to happen! They manage the wildfires pretty well down there.
Your graph goes back to 2012. How is that “in history?”Another interesting chart ... We are currently tracking to the lowest global wildfire burn in history...

Read earlier posts. Next you will tell me how much warmer and drought due to global warming caused this...Your graph goes back to 2012. How is that “in history?”
A quote I found interesting from one of Tom’s links:
Only about a fifth of Canada’s burned area over the past four decades was even inside forest regions that have ever been actively managed. You cannot have a fuel-buildup from forest mismanagement in a forest you were never managing.
Is that the same as it's not premarital sex if you never get married?Your graph goes back to 2012. How is that “in history?”

And bad people. There is no bad weather, just bad clothing.
I’ve read the whole thread. My first point was addressed to you, the second was just responding to the suggestion from others that Canada is mismanaging their forests.Read earlier posts. Next you will tell me how much warmer and drought due to global warming caused this...you missed previous posts where I said multiple things things contributed to it.
