Guys do play both. At least some. But it’s like saying you don’t understand why a guy can’t play running back and tight end.

You’ll like the Olympic game. And if you knew why, running the ball out makes a lot more sense than a clock that is never right and runs when guys are getting water breaks.

Stupidest idea I ever heard

but yea they should stop the clock for water breaks but more importantly never do water breaks again

and I’d like to see the clock stop for celebrations and injuries so everyone knows how much time is left in the 45 min but these ar minor points

biggest issue is USA needs to develop better players period as it’s flat out pathetic a country of 5 million has more talent than we

If soccer, ice hockey and baseball players can play O and D then so can lacrosse. Makes no sense if they can’t.

football is a sport of specialities much more so than the others and the amount of training need in each speciality so it’s rare to play more than one position

You clearly don’t understand lacrosse. There is lots of crossover in D and O in the game. A lot more than soccer.

Footbsll analogy is silly. They specialize because they choose to. Just like in other sports.

It’s a nod to the founders of the game. Natives didn’t have lines. You just ran and got the ball. Obviously the game has changed a tremendous amount since then.

The game on the Olympics will be much like baseball. If that’s what you are looking for you’d like it.

I think these things are goofy as hell, as well, but collegiate and professional athletes have been wearing them for a few years now. Here in the USA.

All the women teams wear them as well in practice and games. Apparently helps teams determine rest, recovery, workouts.

I think my baseball contact told me that the pitchers wore something as well so they could track certain things with their arms.

That 2004 Euro run was incredible. If I recall correctly, I think the final was only available on pay-per view. I was dating a Greek woman at time. She didn’t care at all about sports let alone soccer but her father did. He didn’t even have cable. I reminded her that we had to make sure to get the game and have her parents over.

This match is always about motivation. Credit to England for finding it and shame on France for running from it. I really thought England would have a difficult time getting up for this game after such a tough loss. But if you gotta play this game, it’s better to win it.

The ONLY reason MBappe started was because he had a shot at the golden boot in a game that means absolutely nothing. Did you notice that Harry Kane and other English regulars didn’t start? Same with France?
