Finally feeling healthy, Caitlin Clark did what she does: set another record and led her team to another win by delivering in the clutch. CC's 45 points on 11-18 shooting (6-10 from three) plus 10 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks--one coming in the closing seconds that was the key defensive play of the game--led the Fever to the 110-107 victory. And even though Clark wasn't deemed worthy of being included on the WNBA's 30-year anniversary promotional poster, her 40+ points and 10 assists marked the first such game in the three decades of the WNBA. CC also was 17-19 at the FT line, with several of those makes coming at crunch time in the final seconds.
And she did it all despite playing only 29 minutes.
