Would love to hear some retractions from all the black gals on social media saying Clarks rise has been a "media creation".... lololol..
One great game against Seattle won't change anything. The controversy exists because people (like you) on both sides of the Caitlin bs get tribal and overreact. You keep the story going and generate clicks.

Going into the season, Caitlin had the best odds of winning 'player of the year'. She hasn't performed at that level yet this season.

I'd love for her to regularly play like she did against Seattle, hopefully she continues to play well.

Try not to turn everything into some race war bs. It's women's basketball.

Unfortunately she played against the worst defensive team in the WNBA. She didn't have anyone grabbing her and pushing her all night long. She had a great great game but Seattle is a crappy team...
Not just false, but REALLY false at least statistically.. The Storm are the 7th ranked team on defense giving up 86pts per game at 42% shooting. There are EIGHT teams out of 15 BELOW them. LA Sparks at 94pts/GM giving up 48% shooting are last. FYI the Fever give up 89pts/gm

Edit. Those numbers shifted some after they gave up 110pts last night.

No I get it. But its okay for the other side of the story in the media right. Unlike the media on TV, radio and social media, I have NO voice whatsoever,( This is the ONLY "social media" form I'm on), while they have a platform to spew their lies and I"M the problem? Got it.........

Yep. This is what we saw at Iowa . Not just that she could score better then anyone, but that she could do it and still facilitate for her team mates at such a high level. She had games at Iowa where she accounted for over 70 points.
I’ve posted this a few times. Most mindblowing stats chart I’ve seen in sports.

Not even close to true. You obviously haven't checked the WNBA team stats. The Storm are 9th in the league in points allowed; 4th in opponent's FG%; 2nd in steals; 1st in opponents 3P%. They are actually a very decent defense team.

They have great size and 4 bigs who can shoot. They're going to be a problem going forward if they keep their roster together....

Only thing I'd point out is that she absolutely makes business decisions when it comes to defense, mainly to avoid cheap fouls, sure, especially in the 1st half.........but that narrative about her defense isn't going away any time soon.

Lots of times where she opens her hips and allows the driver to get the corner turned, sometimes expecting help and other times absolutely conceding the points simply to avoid picking up cheap contact fouls.

It's a double edged sword. She could move her feet better and cut off the initial dribbles to widen the drive attempts, and maybe not get beat as much......but she also puts herself at the mercy of refs eager to make a point.
She played better defense yesterday than anyone else. They all get beat on the ball.

Lolol. Clark is the only "victim" from all of this. It has no effect on me whatsoever. Stopping acting like its your job to monitor what other posters say. We have plenty of that already.......
This is a message board. You post and people reply agreement and disagreement with your post. We are discussing Caitlin being a political football. My opinion is you are helping to perpetuate that situation by being tribal and overreacting.

You say Caitlin is a victim, so stop participating in her abuse. Or don't. But I'll continue to give my opinion and you can cry about your language being policed.

Or I could say: "So now I'm not allowed to call people victim or call out hypocritical posts? Stop trying to police what I can and can't say on a message board."

It's a stupid and commonly used argument. But you seem to reflexively use a lot of the nonsense arguments people use nowadays.

Right, I'm abusing her. Like the gals on the networks or other social media outlets are reading my post which said NOTHING other then it would be nice if they retracted their nonsense, even though we know they won't. Did I make some false statement? Its funny that people of color can say whatever they want, and anyone who calls them out no matter how ridiculous (or racist) their statement is is advocating for their race, (or tribe) as you put it. Maybe they just need to be called out. Time to move on from this. Sorry I ruffled your sensibilities.

I don't like it any more than you do, but sometimes it's true. The black women in this league clearly despise her for all the attention she's gotten, and race plays a role in it. If you can't recognize that by now, you're being willfully blind.
