Spending a few years in prison for assault is overkill even if convicted of the crime. Many were never charged and convicted and were just political prisoners. By your logic the leftist that did the same and far worse should be in prison im gathering? Lets say I grant you this, was any of those people arrested 20 plus times before J6?

1-Got any proof that he broke into the capitol? Did he have his day in court or was he just being held without due process like most were by the Biden Admin for years?
2-Whats the standard sentence for it and had he been in jail way longer for said offense?
3-Did this person have a prior criminal history before the parden?
4- If he committed the rapes of kids he should die as far as Im concerned.
He was found guilty in a court of law for what he did on J6. Trump then pardoned him. And he went on to rape two young girls.

So I'm asking you if you're okay with Trump having pardoning him which gave him the freedom to rape kids?

My question is why do you care about these people at all? I know you often try to make the comparison with BLM rioters but I coudn't care less what happened to them because they are criminals and no president could make me feel sorry for them. These people came to the Capitol based on a lie, illegally trespassed, beat cops, smeared **** on the walls and did over 3 million dollars worth of damage. Why defend them at all?
I care about the innocent people that got fake charges that were not violent and got invited inside by police then charged. I care about the ones who's rights got violated by being held for years without charge or trial. Why do you care so much about these people but supported the left when they did these types of acts and worse? More cops were hurt and damage done in May 2020 DC insurrection that attacked the WH than J6. DC was burning that day almost as bad as when the Brits set it on fire...

I'll spring board off this to say a couple of things on this topic.
Over the years I've noticved the J6 discussion goes go one of two ways for the MAGA camp...either the conversation immediately shifts to BLM riots or people only post the videos of folks casually walking through the Capitol. Both can be true at the same time, no? The BLM riots happened. The J6 riots happened (and yes, they were violent). One doesn't erase or excuse the other.
There is plenty of video showing the violence outside the Capitol, officers being assaulted, barriers being breached and the crowd pretty much overwhelming security. What I found to be most disturbing were the videos from inside...specifically the group entering the SEnate chambers. One guy is recorded, and I quote, "While we're here, we might as well set up a government." Watching these people rifling through senators' desks and documents was pretty disturbing. For the first time in our nation's history, Congress was forced to halt the certification of a presidential election because a mob had taken over the Capitol. Regardless of your politics or what you think about the 2020 election, I can't wrap my brain around anyone defending this?

There was a former General that pled guilty for something he didnt do because the Biden admin said if he didnt they would go after his kid. So all those people you defend that committed crimes and took plea deals what are they? You have to either admit they are guilty now or admit the same for j6'ers now that took plea and not found guilty in a trial...
