Solon Beef Days Hay Bale Toss is tonight

[WeBeHerkin]

I assume if Kade Pieper is there he takes it.

I'm going with Allgeyer.

[BrandonJ8]

Has anybody else ever won it alsides an iowa football player

[beans9000]

Matt Kroul won it like 10 years straight until the string of active Hawkeye linemen started competing

Hopefully I will be eating some of his sweet corn down there tonight

[WeBeHerkin]

Winner was Cael Winter

[ChiefRhoads]

I was massively impressed with how long Brevin Doll hung in there. Talk about a weight disparity. Hoping he can stay healthy and we get to see what he has.

[2D]

Video of Cael's victorious toss. Better keep an eye on this one, lads. Solon Beef Days are a better evaluator of elite talent than any scout.

[HawkinK.C.1]

Pieper didn't compete. Winter is the guy that Dunker described as having the biggest quads on the team. For comparison,
2026 - 13,6" -Winter
2025 - 13' - Pieper
2024 - 12' - Pieper
2023 - 14,6" - Dunker
2022 - 14,6" - Dunker
2021 - 14' - Linderbaum

[WeBeHerkin]

Lauck was there but don’t think he entered competition

[Natchrlman2]

looked like that winning throw would of cleared another foot

[PinkShizzle]

Beef, it's what's for dinner.

[HawkAlum2002]

Adding some weight classes would make this more interesting.

[kmurpny]

I’m not familiar with Winter. Has he played much?

[WeBeHerkin]

The food was excellent. Sweet corn I think probably from Krouls.

[squeezebox_1]
