LOVE to see Moreno finishing with the dunks around the rim and going up strong instead of using finesse. As long as he keeps the ball above his shoulders and rebounds with two hands we should see a much better Moreno this year.
All I ask; Can Pope play Mom enough so that he actually shoots around 7-9 3's a game? I know defenses will be all over him, but hopefully Pope can get his shots.
Is Franck still out of all of these practices? My concern is that Moreno is not really challenged in practice.
I think the plan was to hold him out all of summer practices (along with Kam) to minimize injury risk
That seems like a reasonable plan. I just wish Mal could get a real challenge in the post in practice. He had Garrison last year. I think Franck is probably a better challenge down low.
Are we forgetting about yoked out Reece Potter who's up 45 lbs? I'm half kidding.
They spent $6 million on the guy. He better shoot that much. Pope needs to throw out the data and analytics this season.
I actually am very happy Potter has taken his year away seriously and hope he is giving Moreno a flavor of SEC play. I just don’t know. Having seen Big Franck defend, I would feel better if he was able to practice.

So is he injured or being held out to prevent injury? Because if you're that fragile that you can't even practice with the team I would hope his spot on the roster would of went to someone a little more durable.
If he's injured I take back what I just said. If not I'm confused on holding him out. Sucks because he might be who I'm most excited for.

Finding open shots was not the issue last season. We could get guys open whenever we passed the ball and were disciplined enough to run our stuff. Momcilovic will get 10+ attempts per game. He'll have open shots on some of them too. You can't drop coverage with Wilkins and Momcilovic out there, so the sets Pope likes to run will create the shots.
Yeah....quire a few of these highlights are on Potter....who is not a D1 level player.
