Trump's speech really got me thinking about Annie Potts. Like, that generation of network actor will soon be extinct. She's in the smash hit Designing Women back in the 80s. What does she follow that up with? I can't remember, but I'm betting there were a few failed or forgettable series in the 90s. Sure, maybe she had to slum it occasionally in a Lifetime movie or play the sassy best friend in a movie, but she's just biding her time until BAM - Meemaw in Young Sheldon. And the Georgie show(I assume, I've never seen it). And now? A new FOX show called Best Medicine. Annie Potts says "you can take your streaming services & shove them up your ***. I just want to entertain families on network TV."
