Actually, the answer is no. There isn’t a “football only” forum. How do I know? . . . I’ve subscribed to the Insider forum, and they discuss everything under the sun, just like here.

As @Lurker123 said, wait until we get closer to football season and the topics will shrink to just football, especially if we are winning!

Suggestion and easy solution. Don't open the threads on womens basketball or a sport in which you don't have interest. Easier to complain, correct?

Reading the title of a thread about women's sports offends me. Since I am offended, no one should be allowed to post anything about women's sports. This is the way society works these days and I demand my feelings are respected.

This objection to WBB is weird. There is a significant number of us on here that don't care for soccer (Men or Women) at all. We let you guys rock. Wow Sherlock, you just provided information that most of the fanbase already knows. If you look at ROI, that 7 Million is some of the best money that the University has spent. All of the other money spent on athletics just provides a dream that something may change one day. WBB is the only thing around here providing any sort of positive press and we have geniuses on a free message board always ranting about it like something is going to change. Maybe if the other programs performed maybe people will not talk about WBB so much. I wished that the Football and Men's Basketball programs were better. If they were, I would be the first to talk about it. However, football has been mid, at best, since Spurrier left and MBB has been outright embarrassing. What do you want us to talk about? Paris getting routed by the Florida Gators with the students leaving before halftime again?

I forgot to add this about the money. You are spot on, its a constant money drain. Its so amazingly popular that it, like other female sports, have to beg the men to pay for their league just so they can play. And for what? What do we actually gain for all that investment into wbb? Nothing of consequence.

That 7 million spent brings the school lots of good will. Well worth it. One of the (relatively) few things we've done right.

I'll bet you'd be thrilled if USC dropped all varsity sports except football.

If that decision could be turned into a powerful football program, i would. Every sport except football and maybe mbb. But thats not a choice that exists in the real world.
