LOL. You have lost your friggin mind if you think CB was better than Levis.
His ceiling is higher.

Levis was older and much more physically developed.

Levis had better talent around him and a better OC his first year. Overall the program was peaking and had some decent momentum.

CB came into the valley that followed above mentioned peak and was thrown to the wolves.

Give CB an equivalent OL, RB, OC, and D that Levis had and I think he easily exceeds those numbers.

That remains to be seen. Our guy was not a starter at ND so nobody really knows how he will look in a game. I seem to remember a guy from UGA coming here in the same situation and that not working out so well. I am NOT saying our QB will do the same but we need to see him play a bit before we annoint him.
I have more trust in an offensive minded QB coach in Head Coach Will Stein with picking his own QB. Then I did with a defensive minded Head Coach Mark Stoops picking his QB ( which btw was never one of his strong suits any of the time he was at UK). Look at just the last few yeas and the few QB's that Stein has helped put in the NFL Bo Nix and Dillion Gabriel. Dante Moore will be an NFL QB too.

Boley MAY end up being a better pocket passer than Levis, but that remains to be seen. Levis had one of the best seasons a UK QB has ever had, taking everything into account. Boley won't ever be the athlete or have the arm Will did.

I have no idea what makes you think this …unless maybe it’s just wishful thinking or hometown bias because CB was an in-state kid.

Levis was both far more athletic and had a better stronger arm. He clearly appears to have him beat on physical potential. And he was also clearly the far better player on the field. What exactly are you seeing that makes you think CB has the higher ceiling?

Boley struggled getting the ball out on time. He was throwing late, often into closing windows. That kind of issue can be improved, so I wish him well at ASU. I hope that he gets a shot and does well there.
This. If Cutter can get better at this part he can be really effective. But he seemed to be walking a tight rope all the time between a tight completetino and pick six and if not that fixed that will eventually catch up to him. Just has to find a way to see the field a fraction quicker and release it quicker. Has all the skills to do it but that's the difference between success and disaster.

I will not speculate on Boley’s future or potential. I wanted him to stay and improve and thought he would and can. But, he will never be a better UK QB than Levis unless he returns and has some much better moments. Levis’s two years at UK were by far the best years of QB play at UK under Stoops. It’s not debatable.

We saw Will Levis at his peak with a great roster and great OC.

I’m not arguing Will Levis.

I’m arguing let’s see what CB does as an older more physically and mentally developed player with a little bit better cast around him and more stable situation.

I wish we could’ve seen Drew Barker develop without the injuries…I know one half doesn’t make a career, but he looked REALLY good for that one half before the back injury.

Yeah, same here. It had to be hard trying to captain a team that was essentially constructed and led by a checked-out staff.
