And believing they could win 1-0. Spain didn't make that mistake against France.
Something you see with American football where a team that's leading will try to take the air out of the ball and run the clock out. Countless times that strategy fails.
Although it almost worked, it was pretty clear that England was cooked once Argentina scored the tying goal. It is very tough to try to restart playing offensive football once you have packed it in for 35 minutes.
I think the odds were good something like this was going to happen. It was unplanned, as the player grabbed the banner from a fan in the stands. Or at least they say it was unplanned. 
Asked and answered: rain and an incoming cold front should reduce the impact of the Canadian wildfires smoke on the World Cup final.
Experience certainly matters. Both teams are deep with impact players. Should be a great match.
I am very concerned about this game being played under severe AQI conditions. Perhaps rain and wind will move in to clear the atmosphere. Don't want to see the health of players and spectators jeopardized.
