Both things I said are true. She shouldn't have be chosen, hired, or whatever, to fill his seat. Boogie may have attempted to be sarcastic, but he was right. If this was a Democrat that passed away, and their seat was filled by a family member, it would be wrong too.

You guys would defend that though.
I actually don't mind this. That goes for this time or any other time, regardless of party. So yeah, I would defend that. I'm also defending this.

So once again, you're dead wrong about me and what I correctly identified as spin. But let me guess: I somehow proved your point... this is "typical" of me... you knew I was going to say that... you know I know that you are objectively, factually correct and I'm in denial... or I'm deluded... or I'm just an evil, evil liar.

Correct. Those pretending his sister’s selection is some sort of historical deviation simply haven’t been paying attention. She’s just in office a few months before midterms anyway. Since Sen. Graham wasn’t married she seems the sentimental, logical choice.

You’re not evil. I do think you’re a decent person, but indoctrinated. There are rare times when you come across level headed, but the safe bet is to not wager any money on that.

Well, thanks, in part.

I demonstrate independent thinking w/ clear rationales just about every day. You just disagree with me on almost everything.

You probably are a rational person in your daily life. When it comes to politics though, you’re anything but rational.

I can and do defend any and every political belief I have. You confuse not agreeing with not being rational. You opt for laughing at it or calling me the sheep, ironically, rather than engaging at all with what I actually say. You show no sign of being able to hold both ideas simultaneously -- disagreeing but acknowledging reason -- yet you keep claiming you are the one who is all fair and balanced. You, who throws around superlatives and hyperbole like Oprah cars, are the reasonable one?

I know I’m fair and balanced. Liberals offer no hope to people at all. Only problems, and who to point the finger at. It runs rampant in education, and it’s exactly why many say college hurts as much as it helps. That pesky word indoctrination is a real thing.

It has really stunted you too Datt.

Slight sarcasm...screams what many complained about DEI, yet this helped out the #1 recipient of DEI, ...white women....i do realize that it is temporary and has historical precedent

While being a member of a historically oppressed group while still retaining racial privilege, it’s not surprising that white women have been better positioned to benefit from aff action/ DEI. What is surprising is that you continue to associate this variation of “ widow succession” with the prioritization of race and gender in hiring, when it seems self evident that she was chosen based on her familial relation with a deceased Senator not immutable characteristics typically associated with DEI
