That is a very cool distinction but I will offer one caveat to this.
We have never had a player that was predominantly a DH drafted in the first round. It has happened. Just this year the TAM DH Chris Hacopian was a first round pick.
I imagine you’ll see more DH types in the first round moving forward, now that it has been adopted in both leagues.
First basemen being drafted in the 1st round was / is also a rarity, for the same reason. For all practical purposes, there’s not much difference between a DH and a first basemen in the MLB draft. Just about anyone can learn to play 1B at an acceptable MLB level in the minors, whether they played it in college or not.
