IDK man, I think if we're talking regular season, OK... but if we want to factor in the post season...??? Not so sure.

For me, Allen is the only guy without some major questions on the list. Mahomes and the injury / severity q's. Can Stafford do it again at 38-39 years old? It was an amazing season and he deserves the props, but it's fair to wonder if he can repeat the one magical season that was outside his norm.

Burrow has been hit a lot and injuries are costing him games - not to mention the potential trade situation.
And Lamar? One of my fav guys in the NFL to watch - has been for years. But he has not (maybe cannot?) win the important games.

That said - I don't see any blatant mis-ranking here....for now.

Bo Nix is one to watch, Caleb and Daniels are rising quickly. I think the list will change dramatically early this year. Maye got exposed in the Super Bowl (still young) and Purdy is a system QB this is starting to show. All JMO. And my Seahawk SB Champ Darnold will never get the luv - not even sure I'd give it to him on a top list. Maybe top 10

I think you need to at least go to the SB once in your career if you're going to be considered the best. Plus, coming off a 4 turn over game as your last game, getting your coach canned in the process, gets you eliminated as the best. I'd put him 3-5 personally.

Lamar had never had an elite WR

Lamar has had a top 5 roster for like 5 of the last 6 years. At some point he's got a get em over the top. He's had some solid WRs lately and some Top level TEs. Also King Henry and the best run game in the league. What else does he need? At some point...

The only QB you can take over Allen is Mahomes, if he's healthy. Stafford is good but old. He doesn't have Allen's mobility, he just has one of the best coaches in the NFL.

Kid surprised for sure. Not a guy I would've picked a few years ago. Yet In year 2 he went 14-3 earned the #1 seed and I believe would've led his team to the Super Bowl if he hadn't gotten injured.

I guess that's fair. I'll admit he hasn't truly gotten my attention. Maybe I need to watch a bit more. I always felt like they won but he wasn't the reason. He didn't lose games perse but he was down the list as to reasons they actually won them. I guess I could've been wrong tho.

I'll be honest, I haven't watched enough either - just following his highlights and a few big games. Not sure if he's got it or not, but he's putting up stats and wins. His skillset seems a little opposite of Caleb W. who has the million dollar arm but questionable above the neck. I'm no QB expert, that's for sure.

Daniels is another one like Nix who has done better than I thought he would and I'll keep an eye on.

Yeah I can understand that. But after what I seen from Caleb Williams last year I'd definitely take him over Nix without hesitation. He has "it" I think. He's got a realize he can't make EVERY play at this level. But I think that can be learned. What he has can't be coached physically.

Daniels a couple years ago showed similar levels of greatness. Again maybe I need to just watch Nix more . I just don't recall seeing things from him that made me think "he can be one of those ones". I'll definitely watch him more closely this year.

Lamar is fast, but he's pretty inconsistent throwing the ball. I've had him in fantasy football a lot over the years because I always wait on drafting QBs. He gets banged up pretty easily and his production really drops offs when he's not healthy.

I watch a lot of Denver games. Nix is a system QB. Pretty good thrower, pretty good runner. Pretty good QB I guess, but I'm not sure how good he is playing out of Sean Payton's system. Same with Brock Purdy in Shanahan's system.

Nix was carried on the back of his defense. Nearly all those wins were one score games last year, and that luck often reverses the next season. And they were one score games with 4th Q comebacks because Nix was sucking at Tebow levels for most of the game. His ankle has chronic problems. He hurt it on a no contact play and he’s still not recovered 6 months later. If you’re a Bronco hater, you hope Bo does enough this year to get a massive contract.

I was very impressed with Bo last year. If I were a Bronco fan, i'd feel like we got our QB. His play, in the playoffs, was really great..

Daniels was not good last year when he was healthy. Will he do better this season, or will he be CJ Stroud part deux... peaked in his first season.??

Completely agree on Caleb over Nix. Caleb has the gift and if he can improve on some things he will be top 3-5 in short order. As an opponent he scares me

Caleb looks like the real deal to me as well. He is already significantly better than Dak, who for some reason has the ability to fool millions of people into believing he's good. How many years has Dak been in the league now, and I honestly can't think of a single game he wowed me in...and i think he's won 2?? Playoff games? Lol. Only thing i can think of is he's propped up because he's well spoken and seems like a true gentleman so you want to like the guy, you just don't want him taking snaps on your favorite team.

You'd be shocked how similar Nix's "it" factor is to CW.
Watch the highlights of their game against the Giants.

Granted, I think Nix is probably at his ceiling where CW has potential to be HoF if he fully realizes his capabilities.

he's a gamer

also has a lot of help some of these others don't (defense, HC/playcaller)

understand why people call him a system QB - he plays in one of the last remaining true 'systems' in football

..all that is true, but what else is also true is his ball placement on very important passes. When it mattered, he put the ball on the money, with confidence.

Burrow would be higher if he had team surround him like Allen and Mahomes does.

...he's had arguably THE best WR duo in the entire league. But as good as his WR were/are, his o-line sucks as bad, as his receivers are good. I don't understand why one of two things don't happen there..

1-He demands a trade
2-They don't improve their line

Or, they don't fire their coach. Love Zac, but the Bengals are literally watching the sand run out while they have one of the best QB's in the league.

He'd look good in purple, IMO. My hot take, that team is ready to roll. If you're going to sign Jefferson for a bazillion bucks, you need to get him a QB to throw the damn ball to him.

IF you’re building a team today and could have any QB you want, who would you take? I’m thinking it would be between Burrow and Allen for me. Mahommes I’m concerned about his injuries. IF you want to go young, Drake Maye looks like he’s going to be really good.

It’s always somebody else’s fault with Lamar. I’m no Harbaugh fan boy, but I think Lamar just forced them to can one of the best head coaches in the NFL. FWIW (nothing) my daughter just made the Ravens cheer/dance squad.
