It would be foolish to implement as voted law. It does not work. Who wants sun rising in the 8am and 9am hours for portions of the year?

More this was once a law in the Nixon presidency. At the time, it was thought to help with energy crisis. The winter that it went into place 8 school children were killed in Florida as they were walking to school and were not seen by a vehicle.

If anything there should be state decision on a case by case basis. But an all standard or all daylight permanent shift would not be great balance.
