When I took con law, my professor was fond of using the expression "the Queen of England does not exist". Technically, he was correct since the early 1700s - the sovereign is/was the queen of the Uk, rather than of England - but the bigger point he was making was that reality can be a real *****. When someone has been serving in office for years, and by public acclimation (if not actual constitutional process) is recognized as the holder of that office in the exercise of the office's authority - be they President Trump, President Biden, or Senators Osoff and Warner - they are in fact the officeholder.

I think our electoral security process have holes in them, or at least that voting "should" be harder in process. But sorry, we do not have fraud here that changes electoral outcomes.

In September and early October she was leading in the polls until she started doing interviews and Trump flooded the airwaves with "she is for they/them." But a few weeks out every pollster showed a neck and neck race with the prediction markets showing him winning convincingly. The polls were correct.
