KF obviously is one of the best coaches of all time. Who else would've had the guts to hire his own son, with no experience at all, as OC and then, when he kept failing and turned Iowa into the worst offense in the country, KF doubled down and made his son QB coach as well as OC. Iowa is still trying to recover from one of the most egregious examples of nepotism in the history of college football. And BF would still be the OC/QB coach if AD Beth Goetz hadn't fired him.
When they build the statue to KF, they should have Phil Parker and Norm Parker holding him up, because those are the guys who won football games in spite of KF. (And I won't even mention the Black players' lawsuit, the rhabdo fiasco, and various other issues.)
Feel free to disagree with those facts, but the facts will remain the facts.
