Damn right! It’s uncanny how many bad seeds that dude has/had play for him. It’s WILD! Convict U!I wish I could say I was shocked. Self has a history of taking talented players who are absolutely awful(maybe that is too strong, let’s say high risk) humans outside of sports.
No, Kansas could field a hella good penitentiary teamThis isn’t the first ex-KU criminal
I always wondered where 'chalk' came from.
Of course they never hold him accountable. Put him on university probation. See what happens. It escalates and he thinks he won’t get in trouble again.![]()
Report claims KU's Lagerald Vick likely committed domestic violence
KU sophomore guard Lagerald Vick allegedly committed domestic violence against a female student in 2015, according to a University of Kansas report.www.wibw.com
Can you elaborate?I love dunking on the Jayhawks, but throwing stones in glass houses and all.
He was one of at least eight Kansas players recruited by Self accused of physically and, or sexually assaulting women while at KU. Some had battered women BEFORE he signed them.
There was very little consequence for violence against women or other criminal behavior as a Jailhawk so it would be a surprise if the behavior didn’t continue.
Self is really a sad and pathetic human being, whatever his merits as a coach.
Yup exactly, I’m so sick of guys who have rap sheets that are 10 pages long and they are somehow out of jail. Especially for multiple violent crimes. Obviously that doesn’t apply here but seeing as he committed felony robbery or at least was charged for it earlier in the year, he should have been ankle monitored or something. Could have maybe kept this senseless act from happening. Not excusing Self, but it should have been out of his hands as those players should have never been allowed to play in the NCAA anyway... I'm a fan of MUCH stricter sexual assault laws. Those guys would be in prison or get the death penalty if it were up to me.
We have had our share of misbehavior from former players. From the silly and frustrating antics of Richie Farmer and Rex Chapman to the stomach-churning criminality of Michael Porter. You don't have to look to the distant past either. Ramal Bradley and Kerr Kriisa were arrested this summer. Can you elaborate?
Did anyone of these players attempt to murder someone? We have had our share of misbehavior from former players. No, but I'm not wading into Dante's Inferno grading of criminality and moral sins. If you want to razz the Jayhawks every time one of their former players attempts or succeeds in murdering someone, be my guest. I think it's a weird flex.Did anyone of these players attempt to murder someone?
I don’t think you understand how rivalries work. When your hated rival stubs their toe so to speak , you make fun of them and vice versa. That’s how things work on message boards. No, but I'm not wading into Dante's Inferno grading of criminality and moral sins. Were any of the examples you listed recruited after their issues? No, it was well before. Kansas has a history of going after players with less than savory reputations. Also, their list is way longer than ours. No, but I'm not wading into Dante's Inferno grading of criminality and moral sins.
