What the voters will note is that various U.S. Courts and Juries convicted 1,200 criminals that tried to stop an honest election certification, beat cops and security, threatened to kill the V.P., defecated in the Capitol and smeared feces on the walls, they were prosecuted by the Democratic Administration's Justice Department AND TRUMP PARDONED THEM ON ONE OF HIS FIRST DAYS IN OFFICE. NOW HE AND THE REPUBLIC JUSTICE DEPARTMENT WANTS TO PAY THEM HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS. Some of them went on to commit crimes such as molesting children. You stay focused on the minutia

Trump did not pardon child sex offenders, Walz did. The one man so far I know of who was a Jan 6 protestor, accused of molesting a child is now in prison and Trump is not pardoning him. I'm sure that other J an 6 people may be convicted of something at some point and I expect Trump will not pardon them.

That makes the pardon and desire to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to insurrectionists OK 👌

This seems to be the response to every poor decision Democrats make. Never justify the decision, they just point to Trump. They have no values other than “not Trump”.

What do you think of Walz pardoning a child predator and attempting to keep him from being deported? Any thoughts at all about this situation?

The only reference to it I have seen is on this site from a group of RW 's that typically repost non-sense or twisted snips from RW websites. What are your thoughts on the pardon of 1,200 convicted criminals and the desire to pay them hundreds of million, that we have all seen with our own eyes?

I said in the past they should all have been reviewed individually. The ones that attacked officers obviously should not have been pardoned. Some that just walked around probably had too harsh of penalties.

Not hard to give an individual thought, not one shaped by LW or RW media. Now what do you think of Walz pardoning a child predator with hopes it would keep him from being deported? Forget who brought the story to our attention. Just give us your individual response.

You are quite literally insane. There were no “patriots” on January 6. Plenty of thugs tho.

Did you ever think you’d have to defend the pardoning of rioters … as a Republican?

Yet here we are, you have lost the plot. Step by step.

I think the violent rioters from 1/6 should still be in prison for the remainder of their sentence. They should not be receiving $.

I think the man that raped a 10 year old should have completed his sentence/been deported.

In 2026, it’s difficult to find people that can say both of those things. Sad, mediocre society.

And you said what was correct here…”violent rioters”. Too much gross generality nonsense about J6.

True. But I probably have less sympathy for the “less violent” protesters that day than some on this board. I’d need to hear a pretty convincing argument for why they should be paid.

Just showing up and participating was a pretty stupid decision. Not going home when some turned to violence was another stupid decision. Now we can debate the level of criminality that took place among individuals, but I have a tough time feeling sympathy towards participants of 1/6. It was not a peaceful protest.
