Good look bro.
Not a good look for Harper, but how dose he know if that guy was winning or losing big.
Not if all the issues associated with it are being swept under the rug.Online sports betting should never have been allowed. That will become increasingly obvious as time goes on.
Just to be clear and thorough in addressing issues and revealing value behind positioning…”why should online sports betting, NOT be allowed?” In addition-why is or why isn’t online sports betting different than the prior model? I’m just wanting you to spell out your logic so I can see if this is your opinion or if it’s a factual assessment of the situation.Online sports betting should never have been allowed. I mean, it's obviously not true that "everybody loses".Read the book "Everybody Loses" by Danny Funt.
The legalization of sports betting has allowed many leagues to catch the game/prop fixing...if it were still illegal, those things would have never been caught. It's an unpopular opinion (because many don't understand it and just go with the sensational headlines), but legalization very much helps the integrity of the game.Online sports betting should never have been allowed. One can easily argue the integrity of the betting is what drives it all, and integrity of the games tag along. The legalization of sports betting has allowed many leagues to catch the game/prop fixing...if it were still illegal, those things would have never been caught. Seemed like a non-story to me from the beginning.

Hey Brendan, do you speak from personal expaerience?Online sports betting should never have been allowed. That will become increasingly obvious as time goes on.
SIAP: Harper releases a statement. I believe him but the script provided specifically mentions FanDuel…anyway.
Well, my name is not Brendan. However, do you think playing a game for money where the house sets all rules, odds etc. is a smart move? It can be shown mathematically that in the long run you will lose. How much? Depends on how big of a fool one is.Hey Brendan, do you speak from personal expaerience?
It depends on the game, rules, etc. Some stuff (for some people) is beatable.Well, my name is not Brendan. I am referring primarily to sports betting as done with Draft Kings etc.It depends on the game, rules, etc. Some stuff (for some people) is beatable.
A small percentage of people are good enough to win at sports betting. It absolutely cannot be mathematically proven that all people will lose in the long run because that is incorrect. Pro sports bettors are living proof.I am referring primarily to sports betting as done with Draft Kings etc.
And as @Grant Green said, that’s definitely incorrect. Sports betting is something that is beatable (for some)…though DraftKings specifically makes life difficult when you are a winner.I am referring primarily to sports betting as done with Draft Kings etc.
I think that you just helped validate my point. A company like draft kings has an enormous amount of data to set their odds. Do you want to bet that you are in the "small percentage "you mentioned? I am not betting that I am. But to each their own. My guess is far more people think they are than actually are, which is why the whole things exists.A small percentage of people are good enough to win at sports betting. Actually, I know I'm in the small percentage because I've been tracking every single bet I've make since 2016. But my personal story isn't the point and there's no reason for you to take me at my word. You claimed that in the long run, math says says you will lose. That's simply not true. People actively make their living doing it, and some a profitable hobby. Your last point is fairly true though. Most people overestimate their ability in sports betting. They will probably lose.I think that you just helped validate my point. A company like draft kings has an enormous amount of data to set their odds. I didn't think your name was Brendan. I actually agree with you. Brendan is the name of a QB who finds himself in a little bit of a quandary due to his gambling predilection.Well, my name is not Brendan. They don't allow people to buy alcohol at 3 in the morning and in many places they don't allow people to buy alcohol by having it delivered to their home. For vices that people can become addicted to there needs to be some friction in the process.Incredibly easy access greatly facilitating those with gambling addictions and a venue to rapidly add new customers with the intense media advertisement on TV, radio, and social media.
I've seen the Cameo website before. I thought it was pretty pathetic because when I saw it it was mostly Has Beens that'll make personalized Happy Birthday messages or whatever for $85. I got the impression that the amount of money the message makers make is significant to them. In other words, it was Has Beens that needed the money.
Bryce Harper makes $26 M a year playing baseball and probably millions in endorsements too. The idea that this guy also makes Cameo videos in his spare time feels kinda creepy.
Bingo. More internet-age idiocy.Maybe you should edit the subject line since it ends up not being accurate.
