If you weren't ready for Fargo yet, I'll get your prepared for everything involving the Iowa men's and women's wrestling programs over the next nine days:

A full Fargo preview - featuring nine future Hawkeyes - On3

All told, seven men's commits/signees will be in action from the 2026/2027 recruiting classes - plus two women's 2026 signees.

Action starts tomorrow morning at 8:00am CT and wraps up next Saturday (July 18).

NOTE: David Calkins Jr. was listed on Team California's roster but tells me he will not be competing at Fargo.

Kenny, youngblut, Bachmann, and mocco into the quarters. Kenny looked good teching a former Greco Fargo champ, controlled the whole match. Youngblut was about to tech his opponent but got the pin, mocco with a tech, and Bachman won 8-0 and has cassioppi next.

Idk what happened with Duffy he looked so good against O’Neil and then looked rough against Parrow who is ranked 20th and is a Nebraska commit. Just was getting overpowered the whole time. Regan lost 6-6 was really tricky from par teere creating scrambles and reversals but couldn’t create any offense on his feet. Petit was eliminated getting pinned but didn’t see the match.

Just watched the Petit match.
Was up 9-0, looking good, tried to go for a throw and wasn’t in good position and essentially fell on his back.

His opponent was in once but never really threatened.

Regan and Duffy both win their first consi match. Regan beat a tough Carter chunko 10-7. Chunko was Fred Bachmann’s state final match this year. Duffy with a quick tech
Thought that named sounded familiar. How many more match do duffy and regan have to win to all american?

Kenny and Youngblut both win their quarterfinals via comfortable decision (8-2 and 10-4).

Regan and Duffy also stay alive in the consis in impressive fashion - Regan via 16-6 TF and Duffy via fall.

Duffy somehow went from being cradled to cradling his opponent - getting the pin with just 0:01 left in the 1st period.

I got so far:
132 Kenny in the Finals (top 2)
138 Pettit went 4-2 DNP
138 Youngblut in the Finals (top 2)
138 Regan is an AA so far (top 8)
150 Duffy is an AA so far (top 8)
165 Bachmann is an AA so far (top 8)
285 Mocco in the Semifinals (top 6)
Looks right.

Mocco has since made the finals as well, Bachmann will wrestle for 5th and Regan/Duffy will go for 7th.

Has Mocco wrestled his finals opponent before? Tyson Martin is currently 5-0 with all techs not surrendering a single point.

Looks like Martin is an SDSU commit.

He placed 5th in 16U at 195lbs back in 2023 and is a one-time Wisconsin state champ - winning this year at 285 after placing 2nd/2nd/4th in three previous trips (at 190/195/215lbs).

Youngblut falls 10-2 to Tyler Dekraker - a 2026 Minnesota commit ranked #12 overall in the HS senior class.

Dekraker scored a pair of exposures after stuffing Youngblut shots + added a gut wrench to extended his lead after a 2-0 first period.
