On August 16, 1969, I was standing on the beach in Biloxi when a waterspout rose up in the Gulf about 50 yards from the shore right in front of my friends and me. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen. The next day, Camille destroyed the coast.......

Being an old salt and spending many days/nights on the northern gulf. Ive seen my share of water spouts. Fishing out from the west end of Cat Island saw two water spouts form from the same thunderstorm cloud. When in a small boat those things scare me.

Had 4 water spouts touchdown simultaneously around us fishing at Cat several years ago. Pretty wild.

We were actually at isle Pete we pulled anchor and hauled *** for the old Louisiana conservation house near grand pass.
