The Fever are not the worst defensive team but they are near the bottom. Several WNBA teams are allowing more ppg.
The point still stands: the highest scoring team in the league with two of the top five scorers in the entire WNBA has a high probability of securing one of eight playoff spots. How well they improve on defense (and turnovers) will determine how far they go in the playoffs.
Boston goes from ZERO minutes the night before, because of leg injury, to 38 minutes last night.

Very strange. If Caitlin isn't packing her bags immediately after returning to Indy I'll be having trouble sympathizing with her. She and her family have to know she's being kneecapped.
The Fever (SW & the FO) have decided to go a different direction, yet they want CC to hang around as the team mascot. They not being honest her her. In fact, SW and co. are actively gaslighting her. Caitlin needs to toughen up and tell these old WNBA hags to f*ck off.

I don't 100% agree, yet I do think that within the next 2-3 seasons - max- she'll either be on a different team or out of the WNBA.
There's no way they can keep going on like this with her for 2-3 more years. But it's also fair to wonder if she's injured so much already in her 3 years if she can get back to what she was her rookie season. Basically missed most of the season last year and is on her way to being hurt most of the season this year. That would be 2 out of 3 years. If you're not available or not healthy you can't help your team much.

Clark herself has publicly stated that social media speculation about her and her situation are far from reality. It’s ridiculous.
Let the season play out and let’s see how a (hopefully healthy) CC and the Fever finish.
She's publicly stated a lot of things. I'm not sure I truly believe them. And I'm far from one of the conspiracy theorists on the board. There's a lot going on here. CC when she plays continues to turn the ball over at a very high rate. It's clear that this is causing a lot of tension, and last night they hardly turned the ball over and got another W. We know she's not going to bench CC when healthy, but I'm pretty convinced the turnover issue is a problem for White. There is a clear tension between the 2 of them. If you're saying that's far from reality I'd say we can disagree about that. You're right, let's see what happens if our big 3 can all get healthy ( seems pretty unlikely to me) and see where it takes them.
Let's see how the WNBA responds to the letter from congress.

It is and it isn’t. She was 13-54 at Vandy in conference before they fired her early into her 5th year. A .196 winning percentage. So she was clearly doing something wrong there. Shes obviously been a better fit in the W.

But they have six games against the Liberty and the Lynx, two against the Wings, and another against the Dream…they’re entering into the tougher part of their schedule. They may squeeze in as an 8 seed, then they’re one and done (unless some other teams have serious injuries like last year).
She just needs to do what Magic Johnson did, just demand to be traded, let the Fever figure it out.

Hope so, and soon. However, it's a cabal. They all cover for each other, so I'm not optimistic. Amber Cox is out there arguing with the Fever fans on Social Media. In what other professional sport male or female do you see a GM arguing with their fans? You know, the ones who purchase tickets? When all this BS gets cleaned up, I might start watching again, as long as Clark is playing somewhere. They're all connected in some way top to bottom by the past. Will they go voluntarily, or will it require an intervention? I doubt that they would go either voluntarily or collectively.
Watching Paige play tonight, CC hasn't been that good since her rookie season. She's so in control and efficient. Her stats are equal to or better than CC across the board... much better shooting %, less than half the turnovers in more minutes. I wish we could get the CC back from the second half of her rookie season.

Clark averages more points and assists and they’re equal in rebounds, so how is that better than Clark across the board?
She’s been better in the WNBA because the coaches there are worse. The best women’s basketball coaches are in college where the money is. Reeve just set the career WNBA wins record and there’s a half dozen or more college head coaches I’d take over her. Hammon is “good”, but in reality she just has the best player in the league that is winning the championships for her.
Guess I'll need to start betting on Paige so she stops playing well, as well.
