I have sad news to report.

My beloved family dog Holly has passed over the rainbow bridge, just two months before her 13th birthday after a heroic battle with doggie lymphoma.

She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments, after being blessed with Holy Water and enjoying a McDonald’s cheeseburger (no onions, mustard or pickles) as her final meal with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

She was wagging her tail until the end!

She was a true angel.

Everywhere she went, people complimented her. I take comfort in knowing she had an amazing life with near daily runs and endless attention and affection.

Rest in peace, Holly Tender.

You will always be loved and missed until we meet again. 🐾❤️

So sad to hear that. Been there twice, it's tough. Just remember you had 12+ good years and 1 bad day.

Thanks...it's tough but I couldn't expect more from a 12 year old Goldendoodle.

She passed very, very peacefully.

That was also a big relief to us. It was definitely a peaceful way to go and while it was miserable to be there, I was so glad I was able to share those last moments with them.

Pets are so tough to lose because they give you so much joy and don't ask for much in return. It's such a pure relationship.

Yeah.

Holly had low grade lymphoma for about 18 months which was controlled by meds.

She went downhill fast about 10 days ago and had trouble walking.
