Had it become public about Sandusky's pedoness and then the knowledge of 1998 where CSS and Joe knew of a previous incident and did nothing about it then all h*ll would have broken lose and they all would have been fired. Especially Joe who was not doing well in winning games then. CSS and Joe knew that so it was important for them and the PSU brand that this not be revealed to the public.
