Have you considered getting a bigger plate?

Dang, if only life worked that way… I’d have set myself up with a full dinnerware set for 8 long ago. I could use it.

Anyway, thanks Tom! Excited to see a 4-star RB being picked up.

Sorry, I had several things on my plate when he announced for PSU.

This is an excellent get and IMO is a can't miss recruit.

Would love to get an SC Pipeline going. The last RB way back when from SC was a good one. Oddly he never wanted to be a RB and ended up playing DB. He saved our butts one night in Foxboro against BC. Sew-up MD NJ VA. Cherry Pick NC and SC.

Did you forget about Reggie Kinlaw, a solid RB around 2006-07? I remember he did a good job in the Alamo Bowl in 2007 against Texas A&M.

I'm guessing the RB you mention is Shelly Hammonds, around 1991-93.

Rodney Kinlaw* (he was also related to Courtney Brown I believe)
Reggie Kinlaw played in the NFL in the early 80s

I did forget Kinlaw. Thanks for that.

Thank you for correcting my error. At my age, getting the "R" correct is a plus. But I should know better than to rely on my memory.

I feel this… I used to be able to rattle off current and former players’ names, numbers, and positions easily, as well as which teams we beat and lost to over maybe 20-25 consecutive seasons. That has all become so spotty now 😩

Great pickup! Any concern that he is 6'-2"? That is a tall RB ala Eddie George (6'-3") so it can work, just not a typical size. Although I looked up some recent PSU backs. Didn't realize Saquon and Nick were both 6'. Kaytron at 5'-11".

Recruiting today is such BS. It used to be fun to follow and now it’s not.

OBVIOUSLY. o_O , the kid got a bag. It must have been a big bag to convince him to play for rutgres. Still, how do we lose a kid when we’re flush with cash money? 🚽 We have piles of fresh lettuce from Adidas. 😞
