Slim chances of flipping based off those comments, but can't fault the staff for continuing to try. Maybe there's a chance via the portal in the future. Just sounds like he's letting us down gently and kindly for now.

I like the kid but I don't go all gung ho over TEs. Even if they are 5 star.

If he was an edge or a QB I would get it. I mean I hope we get him anyways but I won't lose sleep either way.

Are you saying you'd take whatever last year was over a signature win against Alabama?

I had forgotten how retarded you were
Ok that signature win was 1of 5 wins and they were screaming for his head after the Florida game. Not sure what your point is .? TE is likely looking for employment in December.

When I argue I try to use better words than "retarded"

There really are many, dozens, hundreds if you really stretch it, but you like this one best.

Cheers 😕

Imagine anyone trusting Lane Kiffen over anything?
Probably trust a coach that’s 121-68 vs one that’s 77-89

let’s not forget kiffin made Harrison Bryant a Mackey winner and he unleashed OJ Howard @ bama. Lane has a track history of utlizing TEs in his offense. Look at Dae’Quan Wright last year and Caden Prieskon the year before.
It has yet to be seen Rhule really utilize TEs as a major weapon

That's nice honey, did you have anything to say about this?
Lane Kiffin, the guy who stayed at Ole Miss longer than Rhule has stayed anywhere, and has produced multiple all-pros and first round picks?

Legit have no clue what you thought you meant by this.

And how sad is that, a 5 win team had a better win than Rhule ever has and ever will experience.

I would take Kiffin right now as HC. The state of college football now. Just win. And he would
I was BEGGING for him to be the HC at NU (before) and now.

I know people think he is a slimeball but has he really done anything all that bad? Not really.

Plus, I just want wins.

But with that said or fan base is very sensitive (and scared) so while he is not "scary" he is sarcastic and witty. A lot of NU fans would not be okay with that.

He left jobs for better jobs, which is a cardinal sin amongst the unemployed members of this board, but a natural instinct for effective leaders.

That is sort of what I was thinking...like, so what. He left to try and advance his career and it seems like it worked. It is kind of the classic "American Dream"
Tennessee was an administrative dumpster fire when he left for USC, who was at the tail end of their dynasty. He was obviously going to take that job.

Anyone pretending he owed Ole Miss more than 6 seasons is playing competition retardation.

NU fans that don't like him don't really have actual reasons...

They have fake reasons...like

Oh he changes jobs

Or

He got a divorice

Or

He dates young hot girls

He probably left because he didn’t like Phil Snow looking over his shoulder.
I mean, this had to be a huge part of it..

"Hey, Tony, so you are the DC...BUT this is Phil Snow...he is not your boss but he is MY super trusted advisor who basically tells me his thoughts about the staff...but don't worry. He is not your boss"

Yes it was, you bumbling idiot.

Rhule continued his trend of washed up buddy hires that significantly worsened the defense, Tony got out while his stock was high.
Your the bumbling idiot TW proved at FSU where they wanted him fired he was not as advertised.
