Also according to an AI request....Yes, the Nation of Islam (NOI) still conducts marches and mass demonstrations. Led by Minister Louis Farrakhan, the organization hosts large-scale gatherings centered around unity, atonement, and political empowerment, which occasionally involve marches.

Seems as if from the lack of knowledge on both our parts, the NOI marches don't get the same press as those of the Patriot Front.

probably, same as they would go after any other group. But you can't prosecute Any group for walking in lines protesting peacefully.

I understand different groups have different purposes for existence. Neither you or I, or most on this board, would agree with the goals of any organization built to segregate the races. We're well beyond that point in our history.

In fact, some usual suspects are claiming it’s no big deal that white nationalists marched in DC in July 4.

There is nothing MAGA will not excuse in the name of all things Trump.

not at all, I'm just throwing out the proposition that there are other hate groups with larger membership, similar goals (black state vs white state) that conduct marches in support of their objectives. But, I haven't seen, nor has @dpic73, any media coverage of one of those groups,,,I'm all for media coverage of any far right or left hate group....

The other point was that there seemingly was interest in the Patriot Front, but far less to the other groups. One might think there would be similar coverage for all these groups.

This really isn't hard. A white supremacist group marched literally throughout DC on the 250th anniversary of our Nation. It got press because its a big deal- no other hate groups marched on the capital on that day.

It would be pretty logical for the sitting President and administration to decry and denounce it, and the fact it went by without comment is also a big deal. It was a big day and a fairly big deal.
