I appreciate it. I do post every day - even if it's only the wordle and connections threads.I mean most posters on here are far left or far right or aren’t open to actual discussion and there is no changing their opinion.
The one poster I’ll say that is actually open to these things is the same poster I nominated last year. @NDallasRuss is one of few posters that I have come across that will actually read a comment and respond accordingly. Most posters will simply see who is making the comment and respond accordingly.
Only crappy thing is that I wouldn’t consider him a regular poster, that or I just don’t see him post as much as all the other crappy posters on here. Which is no knock on him, I just don’t consider him meeting the criteria for end of year awards.
I try to post more on the "fun"/ lighthearted threads, but i stay out of a lot of the partisan/ political posts. Most of them aren't looking for insights or thoughts, just a reason to call someone names. That's no fun for me.
I'd never block anyone though, because even posters i might not agree with much still occasionally start other random threads, and I want to be able to see those.
I don't really keep a "scorecard" on anyone here. I just read individual threads and posts as they come. If a thread starts getting real personal or rude, i just back out and move on.
I know there are some posters who REALLY don't seem to like each other, but that's crazy to me, since most of us don't actually know each other. I've liked everyone from any of these boards that I've actually met, and I feel like that would be the same with most people if given the chance. I got to hang out with @WDDT and I thought we got along great. We don't agree on everything, but why should that matter?
That's it for me, too. I can have someone agree with me in one thread, and then start to attack me in another thread when they disagree with me. That's wild, since I'm still the same guy, and it's unlikely that we're going to agree on 100% of things.

I'll try a few times to post something that could potentially kick off an interesting debate. If it winds up just being a bunch of nonsensical bs, name calling, etc., I know not to engage with that poster in the future.
I really try not to, but sometimes a certain handle will do nothing more than clog up the otherwise readability of a thread. OR to avoid stalkerish-type behavior. My ignore list literally has two active handles on it right now. (I guess I can remove o_Hit lol)
