I like Haaland w Norway, and Lukaku w Belgium but one of my best friends is English, so I'll be rooting for them. Because of him, I know more of their story and players. And I like that they sing Oasis after their matches.

I was pulling for Morocco and Egypt. Something poetic about an all-muslim country final on U.S. soil. It would totally get some folks' panties in a bunch.

I have friends in France. So I will support them. That aside, I did find France to be quite fast. Nice through balls that only their guys could run to.

Also a Haaland fan though.

Argentina. You only get so many chances to watch a goat in real time. Mbappe may beat his goal record someday but he isnt the player Messi is. We are watching Maradona 2.0

Hmm. I haven't decided yet, but I'm considering these:

* Belgium makes great beer
* Switzerland is probably the most beautiful country I've traveled to
* Norway's fans seem to be having the most fun
* I have a buddy from England who will be visiting at the end of the month when Leeds is in Tampa for a friendly

I know this is blasphemy to some of you, but I really wanted Mexico to win another game or two so I could go to the watch parties at my local place

Guys this thread does not deliver. Many of us don’t regularly follow the sport. To make a decision of this magnitude one needs quantifiable, logical evidence for why one team is more deserving than another. I suggest we use the tried and true method for this type of factual deliberation:

Post clothing optional pics of the female fanbase of each team.
