an option for a different reality - one in which we don't have the world's most coddled, obnoxious 12 year old as president:It was a bad call and I generally believe in the concept of "it's never the wrong time to do the right thing". But it should have been reversed the next day if it was going to be. The timing screams corruption, even if no money/favors exchanged hands. Trump shouldn't have gotten involved (probably should focus on his illegal war or any of the myriad issues they're ignoring), although I suspect he really didn't play much of a role.
Trump not try to take credit for something? That's unpossible.an option for a different reality - one in which we don't have the world's most coddled, obnoxious 12 year old as president:
he makes the phone call, gets the suspension overturned and KEEPS HIS F*CKING MOUTH SHUT ABOUT IT
ronaldo got a similar suspension lifted that allowed him to play in the first 2 world cup games. it's not like FIFA refuses to play ball on this type of stuff. but we haven't heard politicians or other billionaires bragging about how they made it happen.
he apparently decided to wait until balgun scores. now if the player messes up i wonder what happensTrump not try to take credit for something? That's unpossible.
Exactly! His big mouth will likely lend itself to having the red card reinstated due to the bad optics.an option for a different reality - one in which we don't have the world's most coddled, obnoxious 12 year old as president:

And his cronies in the background with **** eating grins just lapping it up like puppies.the most honest trump we've seen in a long time
"it's funny because you just say everything's rigged even when it's not.....HAHAHAHA"And his cronies in the background with **** eating grins just lapping it up like puppies.
WinnerWhat I have learned from this is that the European sports fan wouldn’t be able to emotionally handle how “Targeting” is called and enforced in CFB.
also ….
there was too much positivity in the new cycle regarding the US and the World Cup. The media couldn’t have that soooooooo now the world has a news story to rally behind to continue their “hate” for our country. Folks lapping up the negative propaganda because they are only “happy” when they are hateful and miserable.
The headline could’ve very easily been “Trump goes to bat for immigrant black man”, but … here we are.
I don’t know if Trump should’ve called the FIFA prez or not, but I KNOW the red card on Balogun was a complete travesty and indefensible. I also know that Balogun’s reaction to it and his comments were great and that young man should be a role model to many youth. I also know that the majority of “fans” out on social media today have never watched a soccer match in their lives and are just finding joy in the US loss purely because they hate Trump.Trump owns the minds of so many he’s never met, & it’s 24/7/365. It’s so funny.
Maybe he could have made a phone call to invalidate an invalid fair catch signal penalty? If Trump were president in 1985 the Cardinals would have another World Series title. Even AI knows how bad the call was...
The most infamous blown call in World Series history happened in Game 6 of the 1985 World Series. First base umpire Don Denkinger incorrectly ruled Jorge Orta safe on a close ground ball. This missed call shifted the momentum, allowing the Kansas City Royals to rally and eventually win the championship over the St. Louis Cardinals. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
