When someone tells you to “show out”, what do you do?

In simpler times, we could just show up. Now, it isn’t enough to show up. You have to show up AND. SHOW. OUT. o_O .

How does one show out? I ask because I‘m concerned of committing a faux pas if I only show up.

Moms said 30 years ago I could buy a bike when 1 n 2 leave the house. She has since reneged on the offer.

show out

Yes, I still Coach high school basketball, predominantly African-American kids. Show out is something I hear dozens of times on game day. It just means they want to play well.
