-Guaranteed minutes
-Little competition for ball domination
-LA > Lexington
-Cronin has a better reputation getting players to the league than Mark Pope
-MONNNNNEY

It makes plenty of sense.
Why would anyone think that cesspool called LA be better than Lexington or 100s of American cities. You all are thinking of L A during the Beach Boy days. The Reagan years

It's a massive city with countless things to do plus beautiful weather and beaches. I think that's really all anyone is saying. Would I rather live in a smaller place like a city or town in KY? Sure. But goodness gracious posters here gotta get over their hatred of a random city several hours away and getting bogged down by the same buzz word like "cesspool." Do you all just see the same meme and it becomes imprinted in your minds? Lol.

There's a LOT more stuff in Los Angeles than Lexington or 100s of other American cities. His dream is playing in the NBA, not winning games in a league that he's not familiar with. The Staples Center is only about 30 minutes from Pauley Pavilion.

He needs to get stronger. Most of those kids do. But, you can see that he has a high motor, is crafty, sees the floor well, works with and without the ball, gets to the free throw line, has a pretty stroke, etc.

You can see why he is coveted and fans of his college team should be excited, especially for his play as as soph. He could be a really nice compliment as a frosh but could be a top college player in year 2. Nothing about his game suggests he is a low level worker. His game also suggests he is a baller who will make the ultimate decision founded on basketball, not a bunch of external factors.

The term Cesspool is overused. But if there was one city in the country where one can safely say cesspool is a fitting description, it would be LA. That place is a one stop shop for everything awful.

Doesn’t UCLA have an assistant coach on their national team? I can see why somebody his age moving across the globe would want to play for somebody they’re already familiar with. Especially if the money is around the same
Hasn’t been mentioned enough. A major factor for him in my opinion.
