when you (collective) vote for mamdani..you get Mamdani....no illusions, he has not hidden his positions/feelings...he's anti Jews, anti israel, pro Hamas, just accept it and plan your life accordingly
Same with his policy platform during the campaign. He promised things over which he had no direct control..he's dependent on the state budget and or state agencies. He'll deliver on some, like rent control, and likely not on others....same as most politicians.
How so? Are we doing that thing where we interpret any criticism of the Israeli govt to being anti Jews? Because if so, someone needs to tell the tens of thousands of Jewish New Yorkers who voted for him and continue to support him, despite the oppositions best attempts at coloring him as an antisemite.
not me . If you go back to my post I listed, jew and Israel separately. I don't view being anti Israel as by definition being anti Jews.
I personally am not anti Jews, but I have some real misgivings about the direction of Israel.
