I removed Jayla Forbes from our recruit list in the original post. We had offered, but there was no indication I saw that we were significantly involved.

6-3 F out of Colorado

Nice find!

Late bloomer to the national scene; recently appeared on the ESPNW list for the first time at #64.

USA U16 Camp invite (1 of 52)

She does not list any visits to UNC or anywhere else; basically no recruiting info on her Instagram.

Early July has come and gone and there is no indication that Sirgi visited Texas. Perhaps related, Texas just landed 6-7 Jayla Forbes, the #2 ranked C in the 2027 class. #18 overall.

That begs the question if 6-5 C Sirgi still has a committable offer to TX and/or if that visit is likely to occur at this point?

Lisa Sirgi is #53 according to ESPNW (does not appear in the on3 top 52 composite rankings). The TCU and UNC official visits remain her only two pinned posts on Instagram. She lists 22 P4 offers in total, including the aforementioned TX.

I watched the video on Sienna Williams. IMO she has an high IQ of the game, can shoot it from the outside, has nice form. Her weakness are, she has slow foot speed, she is not very athletic, I did not see her posting up in the inside to be at 6'3"; especially when she was playing against players that were smaller than she. I do not know how good a rebounder she is, and the competition level in the video did not look all that great. It kind of reminder me of Blanca when she played in high school as far as the competition level. I would like to see her transfer out and go to a power house women's team to help get her more ready for the college game. Armando Bacot did that his senior year when he left Richmond and went to IMG Academy in Florida to get his body, etc ready for the college level. I want to see how she does against other ranked players in the machine; especially the ones that are the same height or close to the same height that she is. My question is did she have any other major P4 or P5 schools recruiting her like Louisville, USC, SC, Duke, Maryland, UCONN, LSU, etc. IF not than there is a reason why that is. No knock on her but as we keep saying if we are trying to knock the door open and move past the sweet 16, we have to get more elite players on this team, especially at the 4 and 5 positions.

Thanks for the updates and for sharing. I hope we can land at least two of these recruits. Go Heels!

I think GG Banks will probably add UCONN to her OV list. 3397Char, I think you might be right. I hope that we are both wrong and that she will add UNC to that list.

Rutgers hosts top recruit on unofficial visit

Jessie Moses, a 5-9 guard from Penn Valley (PA), recently arrived on campus at Rutgers for an unofficial visit, sources told Rivals. Back in April, Moses told Rivals that she’s set official visits to Miami and TCU. She also noted that she hoped to visit UNC, Clemson and Baylor.

Update on Azy Jackson

Top recruit Azy Jackson recently released a list of five official visits to USC, North Carolina, Indiana, Cal and Kansas. She recently clarified to Rivals that these visits correlate with her “Top 5” programs.

Not interesting to me about the schools that were listed by Kendall H. She is going to school were she can start right away. The schools that she listed will allow her to do that. Notice she did not list any of the major power house schools because she knows she will have to compete and fight for a starting spot and she does not want to do that IMO.

What’s the deal with Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka? I see lots of posts on SM about CB, and Coach Cory at ALOT of her events? Are we pursuing her hard, in her conversation? If so, we’d be in National Championship contention in the next 2 years… she’s the real deal. Her, Kate, Noel, Nyla, Taissa, and the rising seniors (CT, BT, LH), plus RK if she can get an extra year for injuries would be a national championship team tbh. I also see we’re in the market for a few other 2027s.
