Did anyone get invited to this weekend's nuptials between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?

What I don’t understand is these people who go to weddings like this where they just invite everyone famous. If I’m some NFL QB and I’ve never met Jeff Bezos, for example, why would I ever want to go to his ******* wedding? Are you paying me to go? If you picked up all expenses, maybe I’d go, but doubtful.

I don’t want to go to any weddings - even those for family members.

Then again, I’d be a good hermit. I loved the Covid times, for example. No traffic on the roads and people stayed the **** away

Apparently they're shutting down multuple streets for this debacle.. Imagine essentially ahutting downtown Manhattan on the 4th of July weekend for a pop singer s wedding to a football jock. What a world we live in....Taylor Swift takes narcissism to a new level

Taylor's Dad, Scott Swift played basketball and graduated from Loyalsock. He also was the "Greenie" at the country club - changing sprinklers on the golf course at night during the summers. He put me to sleep w/ the sound of the sprinklers every night.

Her Grandfather was a wealthy banker type in Williamsport. Lived up the street from us on "Private Drive".

26 million dollars donated to charity by the couple. Great gesture. One million went to the Fresh Harvest food bank in located Berks and Schuylkill counties.

Tgar wishes them the best and continued success in everything they do.

But....but....you were all so supportive when she was named Time Magazine's Person of the Year just a couple of years ago. Because she was so.... "nice".

Grandpa was actually the President of the First National Bank of Williamsport. And I remember the Private Drive which has now been given a name.

I think Scott goes back past even CI. I think he played hoops for Chic Hess.

You misspelled NAMBLA.

And I am smart enough to realize that mid town Manhattan businesses don't rely on vehicular traffic to generate business, so closing roads won't be a signficant impact Because I can look at a map.
Pedestrian traffic was also severely restricted. On the other hand, lots of people are coming into the area that ordinarily wouldn't so businesses in the surrounding non-restricted areas should benefit.

These kinds of disruptions happen all the time in Manhattan, parades, street fairs, visiting dignitaries, Lurch going to class, etc.

I wasn’t able to close on my company’s $200 million construction loan with Morgan Stanley because all the street parking in the 200 block of Park Avenue was being used. They’ll never get that deal done now. 🙄😉🤷
