He has two pending third degree felony charges in Texas stemming from two separate extremely similar incidents.

Third degree felony in Texas carries a 2-10 year sentence…

He is charged in Nebraska with a fourth degree felony. Carries probation up to two years in jail.

With three separate felony charges…I have to believe he will do some time this time.

How come the would be insiders spread so much disinformation?

I have to give credit to Mineo for not throwing out BS, like AJ crashed into a ditch, AJ was caught on foot, maybe it wasn't AJ's car, they used drones in the AJ incident, and it was a dead man's car.

But they sure were fun rumors while they lasted.

Makes sense to me. I think I understand the rumors from the facts now.

The problem is that if this were anyone but A.J., Mineo would be running rampant, throwing out every rumor there is.

I couldn’t remember a second Texas charge, and neither could Grok. Can you make sure there is a second Texas incident?

So, what I see is he has one for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle. This stems from an incident around October 14, 2025, in Allen, Texas. He was indicted on January 15, 2026, and had a court appearance scheduled (initially February 6, later rescheduled).

A few observations:

1). I would like to see a full list, but AJs legendary behavior started in highschool if not before. He is now strike #15 or so.

2). As a fellow Christian, Jesus does not protect you from your own stupidity. He tries to lead you in another direction, but in the end, free will.

3). Any school that takes him on has some serious soul searching to do, and little credibility.

4). AJ had a real opportunity missed not signing an NIL deal with Jacoby & Meyers.

If I had to guess, he gets at least 90 days, even with the minimums discussed. They will plea several charges down to misdemeanors of some type. Nonetheless AJ is ...

SAD,.,,, here is a young man who could have really benefited from a mentor like Cael. In the day and age of NIL and transfer portals and everything else... if this doesnt make you appreciate Cael and company even more then your not paying attention!

Cael does a great job in part due to his ability to evaluate talent and character. One look at AJ and his family, the immediate conclusion should be “can’t fix stupid”!

And now we know how we have heard many AJ rumors that simply aren't true and no charge were ever filed. People simply make stuff up

No guarantees there... but Cael does seem to care beyond wresting which is more that what we can say for most coaches. And maybe that more is what AJ needs (not sure if it would have been enough) but the kid is spiraling and wish there was someone in his life who he respected enough to want to emulate their example! Who better and more plausible that Cael and company?

He was not charged with any felonies, they were all misdemeanors, though some carry potential prison sentences. Operating a motor vehicle or a vessel to avoid arrest is a first degree misdemeanor, Willful reckless driving is a third degree misdemeanor, and Obstructing a peace officer is a first degree misdemeanor. If Ferrari was a first-time offender, and he just cleared the bar for each statute, he'd probably get off with probation. But they clocked him at 110mph, and the chase took 11 minutes, increasing the likelihood of injuries to pedestrians and police. He more than cleared the bar for each statute, he probably bumped up against more serious statutes. And he's no stranger to courts there, even if he's got no convictions. There's no reason for the Nebraska DA to negotiate with this asshat, I'll guess 30 days in jail.

I read NE law as it's a mandatory felony charge when fleeing in a motor vehicle involves exceeding twice the posted speed. But maybe I am mistaken.

There’s a warrant for his arrest in TX, they tried to have him extradited from Nebraska, and he’s going there for a camp?

Edit: the article posted below about his latest arrest that happened today states he resolved the Texas warrant.
