why were the 4th of july fireworks cancelled?
There are plenty of places to see a fireworks display this weekend as America celebrates the 250th anniversary of its birth. But the City of Buffalo will not be sponsoring one of them.
buffalonews.com
"The city has not hosted an Independence Day fireworks display since 2015 when an event was held at Canalside." and this years attempt was canceled because "“After exploring potential locations, an appropriate site could not be identified that would provide a safe and widely accessible viewing experience for residents."
AND in separate news,
Heal International has raised a flag in Buffalo on Somali independence day for years. A city spokesperson said an American flag remains flying in Niagara Square, adding that it was never taken down, and the second pole serves as a ceremonial pole that people can apply to fly their flags on. “The flagpoles in Niagara Square are available for use by the public, and over the years a variety of organizations have flown flags there, including those representing Ukraine, Greece, Ireland, Puerto Rico, the Karen community, Italy, Bangladesh, and more,”
So the entire premise that these 2 things are related and both by the city of Buffalo is completely BS. Well done OP, looking for nonsense reasons to be offended by. Further proof MAGA are the largest snowflakes in the world.
