As a non soccer fan who's really trying to enjoy this....a red card for incidental contact is horsesh*t and ruins the integrity of this game imo. But I may be being dramatic.

I don't know all the backstory with Berhalter, but I remember his exit being messy. It's kind of cool to see that his son is now on the team and has made an impact.

I learned all I need to know about reffing soccer from a friend that runs an indoor adult league. I was there one night having a few beers with him and watching his league when I told him that his ref was missing a lot, and he piped back with "Oh that guy does a lot of the college games around here, some Fire games, and he's done international games too. But you're right, he's not very good"
