I’ve been really enjoying the World Cup. Some great games. One thing that’s weird to me is seeing g people from other countries coach the teams. I get why it happens but that seems weird.

Del Carmen Mexican Restaurant and store. Food is very good & the family that owns it are really nice. Their son & nephews grew up playing with my sons & me coaching them.
I'll probably go again for their match with the Brits.
Fair point and I get it. I was in Mexico last week for their game against Czechia. My wife, son and I cheered right along with the Mexicans cause we were having fun. That same group of Mexicans were loving life and mocking us the very next night when Türkiye beat us.

What is really dislike there is that Belgium essentially gets two chances to score. They got the shot opportunity, which would traditionally be right because they had advantage & the ref would not call the penalty. Dude choked on the shot, and then they still get the penalty shot.

Yeah… I need a soccer aficionado to ‘splain that call to me. Looked like the defender got his foot stepped on. How is that a penalty?
It’s a weak penalty but still a penalty. Add in the attack angle of the Belgium player was left of goal when hit so there was no chance he was using his right leg to kick the ball to the right. I don’t like the call but understand it and would want it called if it was team USA in that same position. Bad way to lose for Senegal but they had a two goal lead and blew it.
I’ve seen them waive off a goal and go back to the penalty. But they do it that way because what if on review it wasn’t a penalty, but the ref had stopped it when they had a chance to score?

Bosnia needs to change their nickname from Dragons to Floppers. Never seen more 6’ 5” players flop as much as they do with little to no contact.
