Not trying to stir the pot as I am genuinely curious. Why does NR get so much flack in here? I do get his voice is a little weird but anything other than that?

I promise you, hardly anybody liked or respected Mitch and were beyond excited to see him finally go.
His employees loved him because he made them fat and giggly. One day we ll see how deep the corruption went then we will clamor for him to be arrested and spend some time at the country club .

He was the best AD in my fan lifetime. He was there a long time so had plenty of time to make mistakes, and did. But he had huge successes. I met him once, briefly, walking into a Stoops event at the Galt House. He candidly said he would survive the day if he did not have to speak. I think he is an introvert who does not like being out front. He certainly was not great at dealing with the press. I would imagine that he could make a lot of post retirement money on some consulting team as he was a leader across the NCAA and a lot of programs would benefit from his knowledge.

It’s amazing to me that UK fans don’t know the rifle team was exceptional before Mitch arrived. Who are these “fans?” Lol

One thing getting rid of this loser has taught us is how deep he has his claws in that entire program from top level employees all the way down.
Farewell loser

Of course they loved him. Rock Oliver had a nice paying job, which isn't bad for an out of date s&c coach. The lady was clearly in a conflict of interest and would've never been allowed under anyone else. I guess Marc Hill must've done what little actual work was left, because basically everything was outsourced with incredibly terrible contracts.

So ya...no wonder they all loved him.

He’s never right about anything. Literally, anything and he is super super super annoying.

Arrested for what, exactly?

Let’s get to the bottom of all this “corruption” so we can contact the authorities. Surely, if it’s as obvious and widespread as you claim, you can provide something more than vague accusations.

Oh wait, just like the mythical “restrictions,” now it’s “corruption.” Same pattern every time: make a dramatic allegation, provide no evidence, then disappear when someone asks for specifics.

For a group that claims to know exactly what was going on, you all seem remarkably incapable of explaining any of it. It’s always sweeping accusations, never facts. If you’re going to accuse people of corruption serious enough to warrant arrest, the burden is on you to point to actual evidence, not message board rumors and insinuations.

He’s not the strength & conditioning coach, for starters.

And if Rachel Baker was supposedly so compromised, it’s odd that someone with that reputation was elected to the SEC executive committee by her peers. That doesn’t exactly fit the narrative you’re trying to sell.

You also keep throwing around “conflict of interest” without ever explaining what the actual conflict is. Simply repeating the phrase isn’t evidence. It’s always a vague accusation.

On top of that, you don’t even know Rachel Baker’s name, yet you’re presenting yourself as an authority on how the athletic department operates. That’s a pretty good indication you’re parroting message board talking points instead of dealing with the facts.

The confidence-to-knowledge ratio here is impressive. The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
